The Sales Assistant is instrumental in driving sales, ensuring a positive customer experience, and maintaining the market hall area's operational standards. They are responsible for sales generation, arranging products, and supporting tasks as assigned by the shopkeeper. Success is measured by meeting sales targets, adhering to company guidelines, and providing excellent customer service. The role requires a proactive attitude and a teamwork mentality to thrive.
What You Will Do:
Meets or exceeds weekly sales targets.
Provides customers with current relevant information.
Participates in all market hall inventories.
Creates a positive first impression for the customer through an energetic attitude and adhering to dress code.
Greets customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile.
Represents a positive attitude toward the merchandise, the brand, and the company.
Provides a positive customer experience.
Creates a sparkling clean and organized environment by maintaining store standards and cleanliness.
Assumes and completes other duties as assigned by the shopkeeper.
Participates in and attends all store meetings and other related functions.
Follows IKEA policies and procedures 100%.
Is punctual and adheres to designated work schedule.
Is flexible and works well with peers and management to accomplish duties.

What Qualifies You For The Role:
High School Degree
1 year of retail sales experience
Good verbal communication skills
Fit to lift certain products
Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours
