Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Contract Duties

  • Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documentation

  • Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements

  • Conduct quantity take-offs for infrastructure and utilities works

  • Support tender analysis, bid evaluations, and procurement activities

  • Assist in budget preparation and cost planning

  • Identify commercial risks and recommend mitigation measures

Post-Contract Duties

  • Administer contracts in accordance with FIDIC conditions

  • Evaluate contractor interim payments and final accounts

  • Assess and manage variations, claims, and contractual notices

  • Monitor project costs, cash flow, and budget compliance

  • Prepare commercial reports and cost forecasts

  • Coordinate with project teams, consultants, contractors, and clients

  • Support dispute resolution and contract close-out activities

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline

  • Minimum 8–15 years of experience in infrastructure/utilities projects

  • Strong UAE/GCC project experience preferred

  • Sound knowledge of FIDIC contracts and contract administration

  • Experience in roads, drainage, sewerage, water networks, and utilities projects

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, Primavera P6, and QS software tools

  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
