Roles & Responsibilities
Job Summary
The Fleet Supervisor is responsible for supervising Camelicious fleet operations, including company vehicles, drivers, vehicle allocation, preventive maintenance, service schedules, fuel monitoring, vehicle documents, route coordination, breakdown response, and compliance with company and UAE road safety requirements. The role ensures that vehicles are available, safe, legally compliant, and efficiently utilised for company operations.
Key Responsibilities
Fleet Operations Management
Supervise daily allocation and utilisation of company vehicles for farm, factory, sales, logistics, staff transport, and administrative requirements.
Coordinate driver schedules, trip planning, vehicle movement, and urgent operational transport requirements.
Ensure optimal utilisation of vehicles and avoid unnecessary downtime, idle time, or duplication of trips.
Monitor daily vehicle movement logs, mileage records, fuel consumption, Salik usage, and trip sheets.
Vehicle Maintenance & Compliance
Track preventive maintenance schedules, servicing, registration renewal, insurance renewal, passing, permits, repairs, tyre replacement, and vehicle inspection requirements.
Coordinate with approved garages, service providers, insurance companies, and internal departments for timely vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy, clean, safe, and compliant with UAE traffic and company safety standards.
Maintain complete records of vehicle documents, service history, accident reports, repair costs, and maintenance approvals.
Driver Supervision
Supervise drivers, assign duties, monitor attendance, ensure discipline, and coordinate overtime / leave requirements as per company policy.
Ensure drivers follow road safety rules, company driving standards, vehicle care requirements, and reporting procedures.
Investigate and report accidents, traffic fines, vehicle misuse, fuel irregularities, or driver misconduct to management.
Cost Control & Reporting
Monitor fuel usage, maintenance expenses, vehicle downtime, traffic fines, and overall fleet operating costs.
Prepare periodic fleet reports covering vehicle status, cost summary, utilisation, maintenance due dates, accidents, fines, and pending actions.
Recommend cost-saving measures for routing, vehicle replacement, maintenance planning, and vendor selection.
HSE & Compliance
Ensure fleet operations comply with company HSE rules, road safety requirements, and internal approval processes.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and ensure availability of safety equipment where required.
Report unsafe driving practices, repeated violations, and vehicle safety risks.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Mechanical / Automobile, Administration, or related field preferred
Experience 4–6 years of fleet / transport supervision experience, preferably in FMCG, dairy, logistics, manufacturing, or farm operations
Technical Skills Fleet records, vehicle maintenance coordination, cost monitoring, UAE traffic rules, Excel reporting
License UAE driving license preferred
Language English required; Hindi / Urdu / Arabic advantage
