Roles & Responsibilities
Conduct detailed cost analysis and prepare precise estimates for construction projects, ensuring all variables are accounted for.
Collaborate closely with architects and engineers to understand project specifications and deliver accurate quantity take-offs.
Monitor ongoing project costs and provide regular financial reports, allowing for timely adjustments and decision-making.
Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best pricing while maintaining quality standards.
Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Monitor project costs, variations, and change orders, ensuring accurate cost tracking and reporting.
Prepare, evaluate, and manage subcontractor and supplier quotations, contracts, and payment applications.
Prepare interim valuations, payment certificates, and final accounts.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience: 5–7 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in building construction projects.
Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of quantity take-offs, cost estimation, budgeting, contract administration, and cost control.
Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying/cost management software.
