Job Description

Vega International is seeking an experienced Procurement and Supply Chain Trainer to deliver professional certification programs, including the Chartered AI Procurement Strategist – CAIPS® program.

Trainers with experience delivering APICS/ASCM certifications, including CSCP, CPIM or CLTD, are also encouraged to apply. The selected trainer should have strong practical knowledge of procurement, supply chain management, digital transformation and the application of Artificial Intelligence in business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver live online and classroom-based procurement and supply chain training.

• Facilitate the CAIPS® certification program using approved course materials.

• Explain practical applications of AI in sourcing, spend analysis, supplier management, contract management and procurement strategy.

• Deliver engaging sessions using industry examples, case studies and interactive activities.

• Guide participants through assignments, assessments and examination preparation.

• Respond to participants’ technical and professional questions.

• Coordinate with the academic and operations team regarding schedules and learner progress.

• Maintain high standards of training quality and participant engagement.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, sourcing or operations.

• Previous experience as a corporate trainer, certification instructor or university lecturer.

• Strong knowledge of strategic procurement and end-to-end supply chain management.

• Understanding of Artificial Intelligence, automation, analytics or digital transformation in procurement and supply chain.

• Excellent English communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to deliver training confidently to working professionals and senior managers.

Preferred Certifications

Candidates holding one or more of the following will be preferred:

• CAIPS® – Chartered AI Procurement Strategist

• APICS/ASCM CSCP

• APICS/ASCM CPIM

• APICS/ASCM CLTD

• CIPS

• CPSM

• PMP or other relevant professional certifications

APICS/ASCM-certified trainers who are willing to undertake orientation on the CAIPS® curriculum are welcome to apply.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5–8 years of professional experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, sourcing, operations or contract management.

• At least 2 years of training, facilitation, coaching or teaching experience.

• Experience delivering professional certification programs such as APICS/ASCM CSCP, CPIM, CLTD, CIPS, CPSM, CAIPS® or similar qualifications.

• Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, category management, supplier relationship management, spend analysis, inventory management and supply chain planning.

• Practical understanding of Artificial Intelligence in procurement and supply chain, including automation, predictive analytics, supplier intelligence, contract analysis and AI-supported decision-making.

• Ability to explain complex concepts through practical business examples, case studies and interactive exercises.

• Strong presentation, communication and learner-engagement skills.

• Experience training working professionals, managers and senior executives.

• Proficiency in delivering both live online and classroom-based training.

• Excellent command of English; additional languages are an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, virtual training platforms and digital learning tools.

• APICS/ASCM-certified trainers who are willing to complete orientation on the CAIPS® curriculum are encouraged to apply.
