Role Description The TRS (Tubular Running Services) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The TRS professional is responsible for supporting field operations related to tubular running services, including the preparation, handling, and installation of OCTG and associated equipment in line with safety and quality standards. Day-to-day activities typically involve coordinating with drilling and service teams, conducting pre-job planning and equipment checks, monitoring operational performance, and ensuring accurate documentation of all activities. The role includes troubleshooting technical issues, adhering to company and client procedures, and contributing to continuous improvement in operational efficiency. The TRS team member also collaborates closely with maintenance, supply chain, and training functions to ensure readiness of tools, equipment, and personnel.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess technical skills in tubular running services, oilfield operations, and basic mechanical or engineering principles relevant to upstream drilling activities. Candidates should possess skills in operational planning, job execution, and field coordination, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing site conditions. Candidates should possess skills in safety awareness, risk assessment, and compliance with HSE standards and industry regulations. Candidates should possess skills in equipment handling, inspection, and basic troubleshooting of tools used in tubular running and related services. Candidates should possess skills in communication, teamwork, and collaboration with multidisciplinary field and office teams. Relevant experience in TRS or related oilfield services, preferably in the upstream sector, is highly beneficial. A technical diploma or degree in engineering, petroleum, or a related field is preferred, along with willingness to participate in ongoing training and competency development. Ability to work in an on-site environment, including remote locations when required, and readiness to follow structured procedures and reporting practices.
