<ol><li><p>Develop, review, and approve Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and Welder Qualification Records (WQR) in line with project requirements and ADNOC specifications.</p></li><li><p>Provide welding engineering support for fabrication, construction, and installation activities related to piping, pressure vessels, and mechanical equipment.</p></li><li><p>Ensure welding activities comply with ADNOC requirements, ASME Section IX, ASME B31.3, AWS, and other applicable international standards.</p></li><li><p>Review welding procedures, consumables, material compatibility, heat treatment requirements, and repair procedures.</p></li><li><p>Support QA/QC teams with welding inspections, NDT coordination, and resolution of welding-related technical issues.</p></li><li><p>Monitor fabrication activities and ensure compliance with approved welding procedures and quality standards.</p></li><li><p>Prepare and maintain welding documentation and support project audits and handover requirements.</p></li></ol><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ol><li><p>Bachelor’s Degree in Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or equivalent.</p></li><li><p>Minimum 10 years of experience in welding engineering within the Oil & Gas / EPC industry.</p></li><li><p>Experience working on ADNOC projects or ADNOC-approved contractor projects.</p></li><li><p>Mandatory certification: <strong>CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector or AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of welding processes (GTAW, SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, SAW) and welding inspection requirements.</p></li><li><p>Good understanding of ASME Section IX, ASME B31.3, AWS standards, WPS/PQR qualification, and NDT methods.</p></li><li><p>Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex, and alloy material welding.</p></li><li><p>Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with clients, inspectors, and fabrication teams.</p></li></ol>
