Position Summary: The Night Auditor is responsible for managing the hotel's front desk operations during the night shift, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process for guests. This role combines front desk duties with accounting responsibilities, including the reconciliation of daily financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Desk Operations:
- Greet and assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns.
- Provide information about hotel services and local attractions.
Financial Management:
- Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions and guest accounts.
- Prepare and reconcile daily financial reports, including revenue and expenses.
- Ensure all cash, credit card, and other transactions are accurately recorded.
System Maintenance:
- Update and maintain guest information in the hotel management system.
- Prepare reports for management on occupancy rates, revenue, and other key metrics.
Communication:
- Communicate effectively with the management team regarding any issues or discrepancies.
- Assist with the training of new staff members as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or finance is a plus.
- Previous experience in hotel front desk or accounting roles preferred.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Working Conditions:
