Job Details

Key Responsibilities:


  • GHG Emission Reporting: Prepare monthly GHG emissions reports for ADQ submissions and assist in meeting Scope 1 & 2 reduction targets.



  • Decarbonization Planning: Support the implementation of SAFCO’s Decarbonization Roadmap in collaboration with internal teams.



  • Energy Efficiency Initiatives: Coordinate energy-saving projects aligned with ISO 50001 standards alongside Facilities and Maintenance teams.



  • Resource Conservation: Monitor water and electricity usage across all facilities, and lead conservation awareness campaigns.



  • Sustainable Resource Management: Analyze monthly recycling reports, reduce paper consumption through digitization, and support food waste composting.



  • Renewable Energy Oversight: Track performance of solar PV installations and coordinate with vendors for issue resolution and performance reporting.



  • IoT Integration: Assist with the implementation and analysis of IoT systems for real-time energy monitoring.



  • Sustainable Procurement: Support ESG and HSE data collection from suppliers and the execution of the Sustainable Procurement Policy.



  • EcoVadis Certification: Coordinate internal efforts and data collection for EcoVadis audits and certification maintenance.



  • GRI Reporting: Assist in data collection and coordination for the company’s GRI-compliant sustainability report.



  • Green Logistics: Support the integration of EV trucks into delivery fleets as part of emission reduction initiatives.



  • Training & Awareness: Organize ESG awareness and training programs, and track employee participation.



  • CSR Engagement: Facilitate internal campaigns and support national/international CSR initiatives.



  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure transparency and compliance with ESG policies, and assist with sustainability audits.





Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.



  • 2–3 years of experience in sustainability or ESG-related roles.



  • Strong understanding of GHG reporting, GRI standards, and the EcoVadis framework.



  • Familiarity with ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems and solar PV operations.



  • Excellent data analysis and sustainability reporting skills.



  • Ability to work cross-functionally with internal departments and external consultants.



  • Maximum 2 years (preferably from foodstuff trading or wholesale industry)
