You don't need to have the MLRO or CCO title yet. What matters is that you've operated at that level in practice, and you're ready to own it formally.<br>We're deliberately targeting candidates at the Assistant Manager, or Manager level who have been deeply embedded in compliance operations and are looking for the opportunity — and the title — to match their experience. We are not able to support relocation for this position.<br><br>What You'll Do<br>- Support the MLRO in overseeing AML/CTF matters, ensuring full compliance with Dubai's applicable laws and regulations- Serve as a key point of contact with regulators and relevant government bodies, as delegated by the MLRO/CCO- Provide practical, business-oriented compliance advice directly to business units and product teams- Draft, implement, and continuously improve AML/CTF policies and procedures- Design and operationalise AML/CTF controls across: client onboarding (KYC/KYB), transaction monitoring, trade & market surveillance, and Travel Rule compliance- Lead or support compliance monitoring programs and account opening controls- Contribute to regular MLRO reports and senior management updates- Collaborate with global Legal & Compliance teams on cross-border and ad-hoc projects<br><br>What We're Looking For<br>Experience- 5–8 years of experience in compliance, legal, or risk management within financial institutions or the digital asset industry- Solid hands-on involvement in AML/CTF programs — you don't need to have held the MLRO or CCO title, but you should have been doing that work in practice- At least 1+ year of exposure to the digital asset / crypto industry (internals or adjacent)- Prior experience contributing to or owning parts of a compliance framework, not just following one<br>Core Competencies- Strong working knowledge of AML / KYC / CTF frameworks and how they apply operationally- Proven ability to draft policies, design controls, and implement compliance programs from the ground up- Comfort engaging with regulators and responding to regulatory queries- Familiarity with the UAE regulatory landscape; VARA exposure is a meaningful plus but not a prerequisite- A working understanding of crypto products, trading flows, and the risk landscape that comes with them<br>Technical & Functional Skills- Hands-on experience with transaction monitoring and/or market surveillance tools- Familiarity with compliance platforms such as Chainalysis, Elliptic, or Sum Sub<br>Nice to Have- Exposure to a VARA-regulated entity or involvement in a licensing or regulatory approval process in the UAE- Experience working alongside product or engineering teams to translate regulatory requirements into system-level controls<br><br>Why This Role<br>This isn't a support role hidden behind a senior title-holder.
