This is a hands-on role suited to someone who has experience setting up and managing IT infrastructure for a professional office environment in <b>Dubai/UAE</b>, preferably within an architecture, engineering, real estate, construction or design-related organisation. <b><u>Prior experience working in Dubai is essential.</u></b></li></ul><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Plan, set up and manage the complete IT infrastructure for the new Dubai office.</li><li>Install, configure and maintain <b>computers, laptops, servers, networking equipment, Wi-Fi, printers, scanners and other IT hardware</b>.</li><li>Manage the office network, internet connectivity, switches, routers, firewalls and related infrastructure.</li><li>Set up and administer <b>email systems, user accounts, Microsoft 365/Google Workspace and other business applications</b>.</li><li>Manage installation, configuration, licensing and maintenance of <b>ERP and business management software</b>.</li><li>Support and manage software used by architectural and design teams, including <b>AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and other CAD/BIM/design applications</b>.</li><li>Ensure appropriate hardware specifications and performance for high-end architectural and design workloads.</li><li>Implement and maintain <b>antivirus, endpoint protection, firewalls and cybersecurity systems</b>.</li><li>Establish robust <b>data backup, disaster recovery and business continuity</b> procedures.</li><li>Manage shared drives, cloud storage, access permissions and data security.</li><li>Install and maintain <b>printers, scanners, digital display boards, meeting-room technology, video conferencing systems and other office technology</b>.</li><li>Provide day-to-day technical support to employees and troubleshoot hardware, software, network and connectivity issues.</li><li>Manage IT procurement, vendor relationships, software licences, warranties and maintenance contracts.</li><li>Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all IT hardware, software and licences.</li><li>Establish IT policies relating to cybersecurity, passwords, access control, backups, acceptable usage and data protection.</li><li>Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve potential IT issues.</li><li>Coordinate with external IT service providers and specialist vendors where required.</li><li>Ensure that IT infrastructure is scalable and capable of supporting the company's future growth.</li></ul><p><br></p> </div><h2 class="h5">Skills</h2>
