Avoca plays in a relationship-driven industry, and ecosystem partnerships are a major revenue driver. This is a growth-hacker role with a revenue goal and a generalist mindset: part relationship builder, part operator, part builder who uses AI to do the work of a much larger team.<br><br>You'll go after high-leverage channels, starting with the industry networks and peer groups where thousands of operators make buying decisions together, and expanding into whatever motions move the number. Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run.<br><br>At The Exploration Company, we are developing next-generation space transportation systems, including a lunar lander capable of precision landing and reusable operations. To support this effort, we are establishing a dedicated remote test site in the United Arab Emirates to perform hot-fire propulsion testing and hopper flight demonstrations.<br><br>As a Lunar Lander Test Bench Development Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of this new test facility from concept to operations. The role combines propulsion test infrastructure design, cryogenic fluid systems engineering, civil infrastructure coordination, and end-to-end project execution in a remote environment.<br><br>This position requires periodic travel to the UAE during site development, commissioning, and operations phases.<br><br>Key Responsibilities / Tasks<br><br>In this role, your responsibilities will evolve with project maturity. Aspen TESS will eliminate repetitive effort and use technology to optimize standardized processes, by delivering cost-effective services and innovative solutions to Aspen business units globally.<br><br>OBJECTIVE<br><br>The AP Accountant is responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the entity’s accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and analyzing transactions for the region. The role involves working extensively with workflow automation tools and Vendor Invoice Management solutions to optimize the accounts payable processes.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>Invoice and Vendor Management<br><br> Utilize the Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) solution for invoice processing and management. Assist with the training, maintenance, and enhancement of VIM systems. Process invoices and travel expenses (T&Es) accurately and ensure timely payment. Perform monthly supplier/distributor statement reconciliations and aging analysis, resolving discrepancies promptly. Maintain vendor records and act as the primary point of contact for AP-related issues for designated entities.<br><br>Purchase Order (PO) and GRNI Management<br><br> Review open purchase orders (POs) and reconcile them against Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt (GR/IR). Oversee the creation and management of open POs and ensure accurate PO template maintenance. Handle GRNI receipting, review, and reconciliation.<br><br>Intercompany Transactions<br><br> Raise and book intercompany (ICO) debit/credit notes for trade and non-trade transactions, ensuring compliance and meeting deadlines. Manage monthly ICO confirmations, allocations, postings, and reconciliation of discrepancies. Coordinate with Treasury for ICO payments according to internal timelines.<br><br>Reconciliation and Reporting<br><br> Classify entity expenses correctly to reflect the true nature of costs. Support the Treasury Team by allocating and clearing all bank general ledgers. Work with the General Ledger Team to clarify operational expense (OPEX) variances. Prepare, review, and submit all required reports to stakeholders on time, including additional reports requested by management.<br><br>Internal Controls and Audits<br><br> Ensure the existence and adherence of internal controls across all entities. Assist the team during internal and external audits by providing required documentation and responding to inquiries. Take on special projects as assigned by management to improve AP processes and systems.<br><br>Education:<br><br> Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (BCOM) or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification. Preference for candidates with professional certifications.<br><br>Experience:<br><br> 3-5 years of experience in a similar role in a competitive, high-pressure environment with tight deadlines.<br><br>Technical Skills:<br><br> Knowledge of ERP systems and implementation: Intermediate. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel: Intermediate-Advanced. Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools and SAP: Intermediate-Advanced. Familiarity with Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA): Beneficial but not mandatory.<br><br>Competencies and Soft Skills<br><br> Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle competing priorities. Effective communication skills in both English and French to liaise with vendors and stakeholders.
