<p>The Structural Steel Surveyor responsible for carrying out accurate surveying and dimensional control activities for structural steel erection works, ensuring that steel structures are installed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, project tolerances, and required levels and coordinates.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li><p>Carry out pre-installation surveys to verify existing foundations, anchor bolts, columns, supports, and reference points before structural steel erection.</p></li><li><p>Establish and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, grid lines, coordinates, and elevations at the project site.</p></li><li><p>Conduct surveys during and after steel erection to verify:</p><p>Column locations and alignment</p><p>Column verticality/plumbness</p><p>Beam and girder elevations</p><p>Structural grid alignment</p><p>Connection locations</p><p>Base plate and anchor bolt positions</p><p>Building dimensions and levels</p><p>Overall structural geometry</p></li><li><p>Monitor structural steel erection tolerances and immediately highlight any deviations beyond the specified/project tolerance.</p></li><li><p>Provide survey support during steel erection, alignment, plumbing, leveling, bolting, welding, and final adjustment activities.</p></li><li><p>Carry out surveys for temporary works, lifting/erection arrangements, crane positioning, and structural interfaces where required.</p></li><li><p>Verify dimensions and coordinates against approved IFC/shop drawings and relevant project requirements.</p></li><li><p>Prepare survey reports, inspection records, as-built surveys, alignment reports, and dimensional control reports.</p></li><li><p>Record actual site coordinates, levels, offsets, and deviations accurately for project documentation.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with the Construction, Engineering, QA/QC, Planning, and Project teams regarding survey requirements and discrepancies.</p></li><li><p>Assist the engineering team in identifying clashes, dimensional discrepancies, fabrication errors, and site condition differences before or during erection.</p></li><li><p>Support preparation of as-built drawings by providing accurate survey data.</p></li><li><p>Maintain daily survey records and ensure all survey data is properly documented and traceable.</p></li><li><p>Carry out final structural surveys and provide data required for project handover and closeout documentation.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li><p>Diploma / Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or related field.</p></li><li><p>Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in structural steel, steel erection, industrial, commercial, or large-scale construction projects.</p></li><li><p>Strong experience in structural steel dimensional control and erection surveys.</p></li><li><p>Good knowledge of structural steel drawings, shop drawings, IFC drawings, grid systems, coordinates, levels, and erection tolerances.</p></li><li><p>Experience with Total Station and AutoCAD is essential.</p></li><li><p>UAE/GCC construction experience is preferred.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently at site and coordinate effectively with erection and engineering teams.</p></li></ul>

<strong>Job Purpose<br><br></strong>Supports in managing and validating aircraft configuration and modification records to ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements. Supports teams in maintaining configuration integrity, sustaining airworthiness, and enabling cost-effective fleet operations. Serve as a liaison between internal departments and external providers in matters related to aircraft inductions and Management Information System (MIS) projects, ensures effective coordination and successful project delivery.<br><br><strong>Key Result Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Assists in evaluating ADs, SBs, Modifications, STCs, including compliance tracking and updating AMOS records.</li><li>Supports development of work scopes for fleet modifications, repairs, and engineering projects.</li><li>Assists in ensuring timely incorporation of approved recommendations and ADs into the AMP.</li><li>Supports aircraft configuration and modification record management—ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory and manufacturer requirements.</li><li>Help prepare agendas, coordinate stakeholders, and document outcomes for weekly AD/OD Airworthiness Directives &amp; Operational Directives meetings and quarterly Modification Committee meetings.</li><li>Tracks and monitors mandatory and non‑mandatory directives to ensure timely and compliant implementation.</li><li>Reviews bi-weekly AD reports from authorities; assess applicability, impact, and support engineering teams to meet compliance deadlines.</li><li>Acts as a technical interface with the Aircraft Acquisition team and Lessors for configuration evaluations and modification requirements.</li><li>Assists in reviewing and validating engineering requirements for leased aircraft, identifying gaps or risks in configuration compliance.</li><li>Coordinates technical documentation for leased aircraft induction to ensure accurate configuration and smooth entry into service.</li><li>Supports Engineering’s coordination with MIS/AMOS teams on configuration management modules, enhancements, and system data integrity.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages)<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Aircraft Engineering or equivalent.</li><li>Strong Knowledge of Airbus Single Aisle' 320 aircraft systems is desirable.</li><li>Fluent in English Language.</li><li>Hands-on aircrafts airworthiness programs requirements and regulations, such as CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization) is required.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office.</li><li>Experienced in Aircraft Maintenance Control Systems (AMOS) system<br><br></li></ul><strong>Work Experience<br><br></strong><ul><li>LAE experience with 5+ years’ of collective experience in the Aviation industry.</li><li>On the Job Training (OJT) or post university time spent at an Airline company as a Trainee or in a similar capacity shall be counted for as part of the experience.</li><li>Experience and knowledge of reviewing AD &amp; SB.</li><li>Experience and knowledge of GCAA, EASA part M&amp;145, part 21 regulations.</li><li>Proven previous experience in AC Induction Process.</li></ul>
