<p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p><br><p>The Department of Food Science at United Arab Emirates University invites applications for a full-time Instructor position. The successful candidate will teach and coordinate laboratory sections across a range of undergraduate Food Science courses and support practical, research-informed student learning. <p><strong>JOB SUMMARY / INTRODUCTION</strong><br>To execute risk-based compliance monitoring reviews which aim to assess whether controls are effective to ensure the Bank’s Group Compliance policies and regulatory requirements are being adhered to and escalate to the Bank’s senior management events of material non-compliance or insufficiently mitigated risks.</p><br><p><br><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><br><ul><li><p>Perform monitoring reviews within the Group, currently covering various AML/CTF/CPF and Sanctions processes/risks, e.g. alert closure generated from the transaction monitoring, payment and name screening systems, Suspicious Transaction Reporting, Trade Based Money Laundering.</p><br></li><li><p>Support in the development of the annual Compliance monitoring plan, monitoring schedules and associated working papers.</p><br></li><li><p>Consult with relevant stakeholders in the UAE and international locations to ensure that the coverage, scope and approach to delivering reviews are planned and targeted effectively.</p><br></li><li><p>Prepare Compliance Monitoring reports and track business unit remediation activity.</p><br></li><li><p>Identify issues/gaps and recommend and agree remedial actions to ensure compliance with FCC policies and procedures.</p><br></li><li><p>Contribute to the preparation of periodic MI to Compliance or other governance committees on status and results of the Compliance Monitoring status.</p><br></li><li><p>Contribute as a thought-leader to evaluating and refining FAB’s Compliance Monitoring and review methodologies, coordinating with local and global colleagues to determine and implement firm-wide and industry best practices.</p><br></li><li><p>Upload issues identified on Compliance Issue Management System (CIMS).<br>Generic.</p><br></li><li><p>Support VP & Head of Compliance Monitoring in drafting the annual Compliance Monitoring plan.</p><br></li><li><p>Support CA team members on any ad hoc tasks as applicable.</p><br></li></ul><p><strong>REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><br><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in Management, Banking or Finance, preferably with specialisation in compliance, corporate governance, risk management or internal audit.</p><br></li><li><p>Minimum of 3 years of experience in a reputed bank or auditing firm.</p><br></li><li><p>Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Compliance monitoring and testing activities or auditing.</p><br></li><li><p>Knowledgeable in AML/CTF/CPF and Sanctions.</p><br></li><li><p>Specialisation in compliance, corporate governance, risk management or internal audit.</p><br></li></ul><br> <b>About Us:</b><br> First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is the largest bank in the UAE and one of the world's largest and safest financial institutions.
