<br>Company Description<br><br><p>SLS Dubai Hotel and Residences is a luxury lifestyle 5-star city hotel which belongs to Ennismore under the wider Accor group umbrella.</p><br><p>Boasting 946 units, with 254 uniquely designed hotel rooms, 321 hotel apartments and 371 Branded Residences, spread over 75 floors, SLS Dubai is one of the tallest hotels and residences in the region.</p><br><p>A wondrous and striking landmark in Downtown District, designed by the award- winning architects and interior designer Paul Bishop, the SLS Dubai is a unique cabinet of curiosities that never ceases to delight.</p><br><br>Job Description<br><br><p>• Set-up, operate, and troubleshoot all AV/projection/lighting/conferencing equipment, devices, and systems.<br>• Oversee the set-up of AV equipment in banquet and meeting rooms.<br>• Ensure all AV equipment is fully operational, repair or clean equipment when necessary.<br>• Label any broken equipment and communicate problems to manager and/or supervisor.<br>• Tape down and dress all loose wire and cable.<br>• Check delivered equipment and room set-up against Banquet Event Order.<br>• Communicate any additions or deletions to flowsheets to manager/supervisor.<br>• Assist and instruct guests/customers regarding proper usage and operation of AV equipment, up-sell different AV services, and monitor equipment operation at appropriate intervals.<br>• Break-down, remove, and secure equipment when not in use.<br>• An associate's or bachelor's degree in audio visual technology or a related field.<br>• In-depth working knowledge of camera and lighting techniques.<br>• Strong working knowledge of audiovisual editing equipment and software.<br>• Excellent computer and troubleshooting skills.<br>• Creativity, attention to detail, and flexibility.<br>• Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.<br>• The ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.<br>• Physical fitness to transport and set up heavy equipment.<br>• Good hearing and eyesight.<br>• Possess a gracious, friendly, and fun demeanor<br>• Ability to multitask, work in a fast paced environment and have a high level attention to detail<br>• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English<br>• To maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments<br>• Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork</p><br><br>Qualifications<br><br><p>• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 15 pounds without assistance<br>• Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity<br>• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift<br>• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping</p><br> </div>
