<p>Sr. Yard Engineer required for Electrical and Instrumentation.</p><br><br>Responsibilities:<br><p><strong>PMT related</strong><br>• Strive to achieve planned and agreed individual KPIs. Must contribute positively to department objectives/KPIs.<br>• Participate in Pre-Construction & if required Engineering surveys to Brownfield locations, both Onshore and Offshore along with Engineering.<br>• Support PMT works as requested by the E&I Construction Manager / Project Engineer, coordinate updates on status of AFC drawings, shop drawings, material receipt and construction schedule, etc. <br>• Resolve Engineering, Inspection Queries, Concession Requests through PMT, Engineering / QA, QC / and Client.<br>• Identify any changes to the Contractual Scope of Work & Specifications, which have schedule and cost impacts and closely monitor all revised Drawings and Specifications and accordingly request for necessary Job Instructions / Variation Order Packages.<br>• Maintain marked-up As-Built Drawings daily. Participate in constructability review meetings with Engineering, PMT, Yard, Subcontractor and Client. <br>• Review the Project Planning Package to establish the sequence, duration and weights of activities and the corresponding manpower requirements.<br>• Upon completion of a project, participate in reviewing it with relevant parties to identify opportunities for lesson learnt and further improvements.</p><br><p><br><strong>Yard Construction related</strong><br>• Supervise all E & I construction activities at site including interfaces with other disciplines and Subcontractor works.<br>• Ensure necessary resources are available at site, all safety requirements and procedures are complied with, and the work is carried out in line with the Contract Terms. <br>• Identify any major constraints affecting construction progress and bring them to the immediate attention of the Construction Manager / Project Engineer. <br>• Ensure availability of manpower resources, construction aids, equipment, material, tools, tackles and consumables for the effective commencement and continuation of construction activities at site. Return, through SRN, all surplus material back to store to secure it.<br>• Maintain a manpower log and control manpower allocation of budget for efficient deployment. Maintain a daily Progress record and material utilization record and report potential shortages to the Construction Manager / Project Engineer on regular basis. <br>• Maintain peer level contacts with Clients and Subcontractors for the resolution of site queries, deviations, concession requests, etc.<br>• Ensure proper preservation of the equipment in accordance with the approved project preservation procedures and Vendors recommendations. <br>• Attend weekly progress meetings with the Client, Subcontractor, PMT and Yard.<br>• Follow up the day-to-day activities and progress of work related to E & I discipline and ensure the work is executed according to the contractual requirements, planned schedule and within the allocated Budget.<br>• Supervise the required E & I Inspection and Testing requirements during the construction phase and coordinate with the Client / Certifying Authority Representatives for Inspection and Witnessing of the Tests and ensure timely signatures / approvals are obtained. <br>• Follow up to clear all punch list items raised during construction and material receiving phases.<br>• Attend E&I related packages FAT and follow up to close all punches prior to dispatch to site<br>• Compliance in accordance with Company policies & procedures, Policy of Integrity & Code of Conduct and HSE standards.<br>• Train and mentor junior colleagues in PMT, Construction and Offshore related works.</p><br><p><br><strong>Offshore Installation related</strong><br>• Attending Kick Off Meetings, progress meeting, Coordinating with Client shutdown schedules, conducting site surveys, and arranging execution Job instruction for Green and Brown Field Scope.<br>• Coordinating with Onshore Interface Contractors to resolve interface related issues<br>• Coordinating with Vendors, Subcon for work execution <br>• Identifying the offshore techs team composition.<br>• Supporting the Material Movements, SABER Application, LOM process as needed.<br>• Arranging and securing the project Materials, test equipment and consumables to be made in areas planned for KSA, UAE Offshore.<br>• Highlighting project delays and discussing mitigation plan with seniors.<br>• Coordinating with Yard team ensuring onshore scope are attended and no carry over works exist<br>• Clearing offshore Punch list<br>• Returning back all test equipmanet and tools to base in sound condition<br> </p><br><br>Qualifications:<br><p><strong>Educational Qualifications & Certifications</strong><br>• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, instrumentation or related discipline from an accredited university (Full time).</p><br><p><br><strong>Relevant Experience</strong><br>• Minimum 08 years of relevant experience preferred in the Oil & Gas industry.<br> </p><br><p><strong>Competencies</strong> <br>• Commercial and financial awareness<br>• Excellent written and spoken English language skills<br>• Good report writing skills<br>• Good negotiation skills<br>• Excellent communication skills<br>• Leadership potential<br> </p><br> </div>

Job Description Role Overview Atovee Steel Constructions is seeking a high-performing, technically sound Senior Sales Engineer with a minimum of 8 years of proven experience in the structural steel and heavy steel fabrication industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, identifying commercial project opportunities, and securing contracts for structural steel fabrication and erection across the UAE. This role requires a strong combination of technical engineering knowledge, commercial estimation understanding, and an established network of main contractors, consultants, and developers.<br>Key Responsibilities Business Development & Lead Generation: Actively identify, target, and secure new commercial, industrial, and infrastructure structural steel projects across the region. Client & Network Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with main contractors, developers, project consultants, and structural engineers to ensure Atovee is included in upcoming project tenders. Tender & Estimation Coordination: Review complex structural blueprints, architectural drawings, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and project specifications. Coordinate closely with the internal estimation and engineering teams to prepare competitive and highly accurate commercial bids. Technical Value Engineering: Present and explain technical proposals to clients, offering value-engineering solutions where applicable to optimize costs and secure the contract. Contract Negotiation & Closing: Lead commercial discussions, negotiate contract terms, pricing, and payment milestones, and successfully close high-value structural steel deals. Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, upcoming project pipelines, and competitor activity to strategically position Atovee as a preferred structural steel partner.<br>Qualifications & Requirements Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering. Experience: Minimum 8 years of direct sales and business development experience specifically within the structural steel contracting and fabrication sector in the UAE/GCC. Established Network: A proven track record and an active network of clients, main contractors, and consultants in the local construction market. Technical Skills: Excellent ability to read and interpret complex structural engineering drawings, connection details, and technical project specifications. Driving License: A valid UAE Driving License is mandatory for frequent client meetings and site visits.
