Job Purpose<p>The <strong>Engineering Projects</strong> section specializes in evaluating, specifying, and negotiating new and used aircraft acquisitions. We oversee the entire process, from initial evaluation and assembly inspection to final delivery and acceptance.</p><br><br><p>We develop detailed specifications for aircraft and new system installations, including Passenger Entertainment and Connectivity Services (IFE) and Cabin Interiors. Create and build digital representation and templates repository of cabin interior elements. Conduct engineering studies through data collection, field studies and generating visual aids including technical drawings.</li><li>Contribute to the investigation of issues and defects of cabin items to generate engineering solutions and effectively communicate technical information within various internal departments using different aircraft technical documentations.</li><li>To assist Project Engineers in preparation of confidential specifications and tender documents matrix for new aircraft programs. Maintain specification documentation, cost summaries, aircraft specification matrix up to date and monitor project schedules and new airplane deliveries. Main Accountabilities:
The Asset Controller / Engineer is responsible for maintaining a comprehensive oversight and control of all skip and bin assets across the organization, ensuring accurate tracking of location, condition, and availability to support operational efficiency and contract fulfillment within the waste management business.
Detailed Job Description:
Asset Tracking and Monitoring
- Maintain accurate, real-time records of all skips and bins including location, size specifications, and current deployment status
- Monitor asset movements between sites, customers, and depot locations
- Track asset utilization rates and identify underperforming or idle equipment
- Manage asset database/system ensuring data integrity and accuracy
Condition Management
- Conduct regular condition assessments of all skips and bins
- Document damage, wear and tear, and maintenance requirements
- Coordinate timely repairs and refurbishment to maintain asset quality standards
- Remove unserviceable assets from active inventory and arrange disposal or scrapping
Inventory Control
