Job Description – Security Manager Position Title Security Manager Location The Dubai EDITION, Dubai, UAE<br><br>Position Summary The Security Manager is responsible for the overall safety, security, and protection of guests, employees, visitors, contractors, hotel assets and property. The role ensures the implementation of effective security policies, emergency response procedures, risk management strategies and compliance with local regulations and hotel standards. Investigate incidents involving theft, misconduct, accidents, security breaches or suspicious activities. Prepare detailed incident reports and recommend corrective actions. Maintain records of all investigations and security-related matters. Emergency Preparedness & Crisis Management Lead emergency response planning and execution. Ensure preparedness for fire emergencies, medical incidents, natural disasters, security threats and evacuation procedures. Coordinate emergency drills and training programs. Act as Incident Commander during emergencies until relieved by senior management or emergency services. Liaise with Civil Defence, Police, Ambulance Services and other government authorities when required. Team Leadership & Development Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate Security Officers and Supervisors. Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions. Ensure all team members maintain professional appearance, discipline and service standards. Develop departmental training programs focused on security awareness, emergency response and guest interaction. Health, Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with UAE laws, local authority regulations and hotel security standards. Support Health & Safety initiatives and workplace safety programs. Participate in safety committee meetings and risk management reviews. Monitor contractor and vendor compliance with security requirements.
