<span>Black & Grey HR is seeking a Field Engineer – Subsea to join the client's offshore project delivery team on a permanent rotational basis. You will be deployed offshore as the resident engineering representative during subsea inspection, repair, maintenance, and construction (IRM/EPC) operations, ensuring technical compliance, quality oversight, and real-time engineering authority at the project site.<br><br>This is a permanent position — not a contract — with a 60-day on / 30-day off rotation providing genuine recovery time between deployments. When not offshore, you are shore-based at the client's Abu Dhabi facility supporting pre-mobilisation engineering activities and project close-out documentation.<br><br>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<br><br>1. Equivalent vocational qualifications with demonstrable offshore experience will be considered.<br><br>Experience<br><br>- Proven years of experience in subsea field engineering or offshore inspection and construction activities<br><br>- Practical, hands-on knowledge of subsea systems is essential — candidates must have direct experience with one or more of the following: subsea pipelines, subsea structures, risers, or umbilicals. <p>New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) invites applications for a Junior Research Scientist to join an exciting multidisciplinary research program investigating the environmental and ecological drivers of productive fishing grounds in the United Arab Emirates.</p><br><br>
<p>Working in partnership with Emirates Nature–WWF and government stakeholders, the successful candidate will support marine ecological surveys, fisheries monitoring, and environmental assessments that will contribute to evidence-based fisheries management and habitat restoration.</p><br><br>
<p>The Junior Research Scientist will become part of a multidisciplinary team undertaking ecological field surveys, environmental monitoring, habitat assessments, and fisheries research throughout the UAE. The role combines regular fieldwork with laboratory and data analysis, providing opportunities to contribute to applied research that directly supports marine conservation and sustainable fisheries management.</p><br><br>
<p>Working closely with researchers from Mubadala ACCESS, the successful candidate will assist with the collection, processing, analysis, and interpretation of biological and environmental data, while contributing to technical reports, scientific publications, and stakeholder outputs.</p><br><br>
<p>Responsibilities include supporting marine field surveys, including fish community assessments, benthic habitat monitoring, underwater visual surveys, and environmental sampling.
