Project Director – Design Development & Delivery Management - Hospitality Project

The Project Director – Design Development & Delivery Management will lead the end-to-end design management and project delivery of a large-scale hospitality development. The role is responsible for driving the project from concept design through construction, ensuring that design intent, quality, budget, programme, and operational requirements are achieved while coordinating all stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and hotel operators. Key Responsibilities Lead the overall planning, design development, procurement, construction, and project delivery of the hospitality project. Manage the design process from concept through detailed design, ensuring compliance with client requirements, brand standards, local regulations, and project objectives. Coordinate multidisciplinary consultants including architecture, interior design, structural, MEP, landscape, lighting, acoustics, kitchen, AV, and specialist consultants. Review and approve design deliverables, technical submissions, value engineering proposals, and material selections. Ensure timely resolution of design coordination issues and interface management between all project stakeholders. Oversee contractor performance during construction to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules. Monitor project programme, budget, risks, and key milestones, implementing mitigation strategies where required. Lead design and progress meetings with clients, hotel operators, consultants, contractors, and authorities. Manage project governance, reporting, change management, and commercial awareness throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure compliance with health, safety, sustainability, and statutory requirements. Support project commissioning, testing, handover, snagging, and close-out activities to achieve successful project completion. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred). Minimum 18–20 years of experience in design management and project delivery. Proven experience delivering luxury hospitality, hotel, or resort developments from concept through handover. Strong background within a Project Management Consultancy (PMC), developer, or international consultancy. Comprehensive understanding of hospitality design standards, construction methodologies, procurement strategies, and project controls. Experience managing international hotel operator requirements and brand approvals is highly desirable. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills. Proficient in project management tools and Microsoft Office applications.

Job Purpose This position is responsible to extend support and assistance to the community management team for the management of the Owners’ Associations (OA) in compliance with the applicable Law for managing Jointly Owned Property. This includes, but is not limited to site operations and supervision, financial, general management, relationship management with OA Board Members, Owners, Service Providers, Contractors and all other entities who directly or indirectly contribute to the management and operations of the community.<br>The Community Liaison may report to the Community Manager or Community Supervisor.<br>Roles, Responsibilities, Duties<br>Operations related Conduct regular inspections and take necessary actions to address HSE related issues. Highlight concerns to the service provider through a formal report / CAFM. Maintain an up to date ‘community action tracker’ for the community and ensure proper follow up on items listed. Inspection on extra work on site from third party contractor along with FM when required. Evaluate work completion reports related to common area and common assets. Apply the provisions under the law for service charges collection on Owners (where applicable). Maintain up-to-date, all forms to be used for successful and efficient management of the community. Process the requests for advertisements (physical and electronic) and flyer distribution (if applicable) in the community. Provide assistance in preparation for tenders and site visits for goods & services required by the community. Coordination with Procurement Department to create purchase requisitions & LPO and to provide all necessary documentation for Finance to release payment. Work closely with other support departments like Procurement, HSE and Finance, serving as the main point of administrative contact between community and other departments in the vendor registration process. Assist with the internal budget preparation for the department. Secondary Staff in Insurance Claim notifications along with preparing invoices and follow up reimbursement of claims from Developer, as necessary Secondary Support in the monitoring & updating site property damage tracker. Follow up insurance fund transfer reimbursement after work completion/delivery along with follow up with Finance for allocations of insurance funds. Draft Minutes of Meeting during Interim Owners Union Board Meetings and Annual General Assembly. Assistance with MOM and preparation of reports during internal and external meetings. Upload Quarterly & Annual General meetings – compile & upload in the share all pertinent hard and soft copies. Weekly, Monthly report preparation for OA, updated from FM, Finance and OA. Support staff in preparation of invoice & payment for Storage Room Contract Rental, Access Card Issuance, advertisement, NOC objection certificate/accidents or any other established sources of generating “Other Income” for the Owners’ Association or Provis, if required. Provide general information, secretarial, clerical, personal assistance deemed required by Owners Association (OA) Management. Handles administrative work and invoicing, receipting and collection of service charge, if required. Coordinate with other departments like Finance in relation to service charges. Support staff in handling of all invoicing and payment coordination of all service providers. As the MLRO and Compliance Officer, you will serve as the backbone of our regulatory integrity, ensuring our Company Service Provider (CSP) operations within the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) remain beyond reproach. This is a high-impact role where you will act as the primary liaison with the Registration Authority (RA), protecting the firm's reputation while enabling sustainable growth through expert risk management and robust oversight.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>Own and evolve the AML/CFT framework as a DNFBP, including the annual review of Business Risk Assessments and customer due diligence (CDD/EDD) protocols Manage comprehensive sanctions and PEP screening (UN, OFAC, EU, UAE) and oversee ongoing transaction monitoring for the firm and all administered entities Act as the designated reporting officer, filing Suspicious Activity/Transaction Reports (SARs/STRs) with the UAE Financial Intelligence Unit (go AML) and maintaining meticulous records Oversee all CSP license conditions, including client money handling, UBO filings, and the two-business-day record retrieval mandate Execute the compliance monitoring programme and manage all regulatory notifications, annual returns, and staff certifications Serve as the primary point of contact for the ADGM Registration Authority, managing correspondence and ensuring constant readiness for RA assessments Provide expert advice to the Board and senior management on evolving regulatory requirements and escalate potential breaches immediately<br><br>Requirements<br><br>A minimum of five (5) years of direct AML and compliance experience, specifically within the UAE or a similar international financial center Deep technical knowledge of ADGM regulations and the UAE federal AML/CFT legal framework Confirmed eligibility to meet "Fit and Proper" status under ADGM / RA standards Recognized professional AML or Compliance qualifications (e.g., ACAMS, ICA) Proven experience in transaction monitoring, suspicious activity reporting, and filing via the UAE FIU portal Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage strict regulatory deadlines<br><br>Nice-to-Haves<br><br>Previous experience managing dual-regulated entities (FSRA and CSP) Existing relationships or a track record of successful engagements with the ADGM Registration Authority Experience in delivering high-impact AML training sessions to diverse internal teams<br><br>Benefits<br><br>????
