Deliver high‑quality simulator instruction on assigned aircraft type(s), typically involving four or more simulator hours per session (excluding briefing and debriefing). Conduct detailed pre‑ and post‑flight simulator briefings in a professional and supportive manner. Deliver classroom instruction using various training platforms such as Simfinity, CBT, IPT, or traditional lectures, requiring periods of up to 8–10 hours of standing and/or sitting. Support curriculum and device development (simulators, FTDs, FMS trainers) when assigned, including evaluation, validation, and certification activities. If assigned to ground school duties, obtain and maintain FAA/EASA ground school and simulator instructor qualifications within approximately 12 months. Acquire examiner qualifications and perform examiner duties under the applicable authority, when designated. Provide seat support and instructional assistance as required during training operations. Maintain accurate training records, identify trainee performance gaps, and recommend remedial training when necessary. Track and manage personal instructional currency and qualification requirements.
