Main Accountabilities
The position is responsible for developing, maintaining and implementing Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Management System in the company. - Support the implementation of HSE elements of the Integrated Management System (IMS).
- To assist with development and implementation of the HSE Training plan;
- To prepare the HSE Induction Training Package for review by HSE Management;
- To conduct all HSE Inductions;
- To ensure all new Inductees are issued with ID badges (where applicable);
- To identify HSE training opportunities and provide feedback to HSE management;
- To update and maintain all contemporary records related to HSE Training;
- To prepare HSE Training reports for submission to HSE Manager, as required;

Review of WPS, PQR and weld maps. Witness Welder Qualifications. Ensure that material/welding consumables are stored and handled correctly, when required material traceability is maintained and correct material used. Ensure a system of welding consumable control is implemented. Ensure welding machines/baking ovens/quivers are in serviceable condition and where required is within the valid calibration period. Timely inspection during fabrication and construction. Check for the qualification of the welding personnel and the kind of materials being used for the process. Carry out inspection of work in progress including checking if the right procedure is followed for the welding process. Perform visual and dimensional checks. Monitor welding process parameters for compliance with approved procedures and project specifications. Perform in process (before/during/after) and final visual inspections. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:Emergency Management Monitor to ensure all TECOM entities have emergency response systems, first aid arrangements, policies and procedures in place to manage emergency situations. Documentation & Tendering Record and report all incidents for investigations as per TECOM expectations through work management system or any other suitable means. Support the Manager in assessing incident trends and reviewing of overall HSE performance. Retain and secure all relevant HSE documents in line with TECOM policies. Support the Managers in preparing the necessary scope of work on health and safety for new tenders as applicable to the nature of activity. Regularly update the TECOM HSE critical risk register and document all risk mitigation measures and conduct regular follow ups to ensure the CRR status is updated with acceptable risk rating. Inter Departmental & Government Coordination Coordinate with FM operations / building projects, infrastructure and fit out teams and other relevant department who are in association with HSE for effective implementation of TECOM HSE policy. Coordinate with stakeholders and ensure risk & legal register and environmental impact assessment procedures are followed Coordinate and support the Manager to organize HSE committee meetings in line with TECOM HSE governance charter and assist in recording all key HSE matters for its resolution and action. Conduct HSE review of land and buildings during pre-sale, lease renewal to ensure the business partners are complying with HSE requirements to prevent business interruption due to their nature of activity.
