Technical Expertise:<br><br>The Design Engineer shall be capable of performing the analysis & design, drawings of structural & civil elements covering GIS substation / control room buildings, transformer foundations, outdoor equipment foundations, guard house, staff quarters, grading, roads and drainage, outdoor steel structures and miscellaneous works related to the substations and cabling works. Design Engineer - Civil shall be able to review Vendor engineering documents with respect to Civil & Structural design. Knowledge of switchyard gantry towers, equipment supporting structures & foundations. Also, able to review of fabrication / detailed drawings for steel supporting structures.<br><br>Should be familiar with design codes -<br><br>domestic & international standards. The Engineer should be proficient in Steel structures, RCC structures & Geotech aspects. Knowledge of Site conditions, Topographic Conditions, environmental conditions for design calculations.

Program Purpose During the two-years program, the candidate is trained on subjects related to professional skills, knowledge, engineering, workshop processes & procedures, calculations & measurements.
