01. ABOUT THE COMPANY
Dizzaract is a product-driven company operating at the intersection of gaming, digital platforms, and AI. We build and scale multiple products, including FAR Labs & Gamed — each exploring a different space, yet united by a shared approach: moving fast, staying curious, and focusing on things that people actually use. We operate as a collaborative, non-hierarchical team where ideas are valued based on their impact, not their origin, and where AI is embedded across everything we build, from infrastructure to product decisions.
02. ABOUT THE ROLE
FAR Labs is building an AI-native engineering organisation where AI is embedded into how we design, build, test, and operate products. You’ll help define what a high-performing engineering team looks like when every engineer is deeply AI-enabled — and continuously improve how we work as these tools evolve.
We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to strengthen the FAR Labs engineering organisation and work directly with our CTO & Co-Founder. This role sits between engineering, product, and business. You will own the day-to-day effectiveness of the engineering organisation: team structure, delivery, engineering processes, performance management, hiring, and development of the team.
Your role is to make sure the engineering organisation executes around that direction effectively — with clear ownership, strong teams, predictable delivery, and high engineering standards. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands technology deeply, can challenge senior engineers and technical leads, and knows how to build an engineering environment where people perform and grow.
03. WHO YOU ARE
Experienced Engineering Leader: You have a strong software engineering background combined with several years of experience leading engineering teams, senior engineers, and technical leads. Technically Credible: You understand modern software architecture, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, reliability, and software development practices well enough to challenge technical decisions and support strong engineers. Execution-Focused: You know how to turn business and product priorities into clear engineering plans, remove blockers, manage dependencies, and keep teams moving toward releases. People Manager: You are comfortable with hiring, performance management, development conversations, difficult feedback, team changes, and creating clear expectations for engineers. Systems Thinker: You naturally look at team structure, processes, ownership, communication, and delivery as connected parts of one engineering system. Product & Business Mindset: You understand that engineering exists to solve real product and business problems, and you can communicate technical trade-offs clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Builder: You are comfortable creating processes and structures from scratch rather than relying on established corporate systems.
04. RESPONSIBILITIES
Engineering Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop engineers and engineering leads across FAR Labs, creating a culture of ownership, accountability, transparency, and high performance. Engineering Organisation: Structure engineering into effective teams based on products, technical domains, priorities, and available capacity. Define clear ownership and responsibilities across teams and individuals. Delivery & Releases: Own engineering execution across projects and releases. Track progress, blockers, dependencies, risks, and timelines and ensure leadership has clear visibility into delivery. Engineering Processes: Build and continuously improve planning, estimation, development, code review, testing, release, retrospective, and incident-management processes. Velocity & Performance: Identify bottlenecks affecting engineering velocity and systematically remove them while maintaining strong quality and reliability standards. People Management: Own regular 1:1s, performance reviews, development plans, feedback cycles, performance improvement, and career development across the engineering organisation. Hiring & Team Building: Partner with the CTO and People team on workforce planning, hiring, interviewing, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding. Product & Business Alignment: Work closely with Product and Business teams to translate priorities into engineering plans and make sure engineers understand both what they are building and why. Technical Excellence: Partner with the CTO and technical leads to maintain strong standards around architecture, code quality, scalability, security, reliability, technical debt, and maintainability. Infrastructure & Reliability: Ensure strong engineering practices around CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, observability, incident response, and production reliability. Engineering Metrics: Introduce and track meaningful metrics around delivery, quality, reliability, capacity, and engineering performance.
05. REQUIREMENTS
7+ years of software engineering experience.3+ years of experience managing engineering teams in a technology company. Previous experience managing Senior Engineers, Tech Leads, or multiple engineering teams. Strong technical background with solid understanding of modern software architecture, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, and system reliability. Proven experience building or improving engineering processes and team structures. Strong experience managing software delivery from planning through production. Experience with hiring, onboarding, performance management, employee development, and difficult performance decisions. Ability to manage technical debt while balancing short-term product priorities with long-term engineering quality. Strong understanding of Agile software development principles and modern engineering practices. Experience working closely with Product, Business, and other cross-functional stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions in fast-moving environments. Experience scaling an engineering organisation or building engineering processes in a startup or scale-up environment is a strong plus. Experience in AI, ML infrastructure, distributed systems, developer infrastructure, or technically complex products is a plus. English level: Advanced (C1).
06. WHAT YOU WILL LEARNEngineering Scale: How to structure and scale an engineering organisation around rapidly evolving AI products and infrastructure. AI Infrastructure: Exposure to distributed AI systems, infrastructure, compute, and emerging technologies across the FAR Labs ecosystem. Engineering Leadership: Building engineering systems where team structure, processes, performance, and delivery evolve together as the organisation grows. Product & Technology Strategy: Working closely with a technical founder and leadership team to understand how engineering decisions translate directly into product and business outcomes.
07. WHAT WE OFFERReal ownership and direct impact on the structure and performance of the FAR Labs engineering organisation. Direct collaboration with the CTO & Co-Founder and senior leadership team. The opportunity to shape engineering processes, team structure, hiring, and ways of working. Hands-on exposure to technically challenging AI, infrastructure, and distributed systems problems. Fast execution, low bureaucracy, and a highly collaborative, idea-driven team. Competitive salary with performance-based incentives.24 days annual leave, plus public holidays. Health insurance. Modern office in Yas Creative Hub. Continuous learning through real-world problem solving — not just theory. The opportunity to influence both engineering execution and product direction. A diverse, open-minded team where ideas are genuinely heard.

We are looking for a hands-on leader to own cloud and security across Amana. This person is the senior authority for application security, cloud architecture, cloud security, and the engineering practices that keep our systems resilient. The title reflects the breadth of accountability, not the scale of a corporate hierarchy. Amana is a small company, and this role leads a compact function while remaining personally involved in the work. The right person has already led a small technical security team and is comfortable operating as its most senior engineer, initially supported by one engineer or analyst. They can review architecture, challenge engineering decisions, set priorities, and own outcomes across cloud, application security, vulnerability management, and incident readiness.
What you’ll do
Own cloud and security across our customer-facing and internal platforms, including application security, cloud architecture, security standards, and operational risk. Review product, engineering, and cloud designs for security and resilience risks before they become production issues. Run threat modeling for new features, integrations, APIs, authentication flows, payments, trading, admin tools, and data handling. Work directly with engineering and Dev Ops teams to identify, prioritize, and resolve vulnerabilities and control gaps across applications, architecture, cloud configuration, CI/CD, secrets, IAM, and access control. Lead secure architecture reviews across web, mobile, backend, AWS, GCP, and third-party integrations. Build a practical security program around the risks that matter most: account takeover, data leakage, privilege escalation, fraud vectors, API abuse, insecure admin access, supply chain risk, and production misconfiguration. Own vulnerability management across applications, cloud assets, dependencies, and infrastructure. Drive penetration testing, security assessments, remediation plans, and follow-through. Set and improve cloud and security controls for identity, access, network boundaries, secrets, logging, alerting, resilience, and production change management. Partner with engineering to make secure delivery part of normal delivery, not a separate ceremony. Support compliance and regulatory expectations with evidence, controls, and clear technical ownership. Prepare the company for security incidents: playbooks, escalation paths, logging coverage, tabletop exercises, and post-incident review. Lead a compact cloud and security function, initially the Head plus one engineer or analyst, including prioritization, work allocation, coaching, and accountability. Work directly with technology leadership on security priorities, trade-offs, and risk acceptance.
Essential skills and experience
10+ years across application security, cloud security, security engineering, platform engineering, Dev Sec Ops, or related technical security roles. Prior experience in fintech, banking, payments, trading, brokerage, crypto, or another regulated environment. Strong practical application security experience at architecture and system level: threat modeling, authentication, authorization, session management, API security, secure design, secrets handling, business logic abuse, and secure SDLC. Strong technical literacy and the ability to work directly with engineers. You should be able to understand and challenge code-level findings, but routine source-code review is not the primary responsibility of this role. Deep practical understanding of cloud architecture and security across AWS and GCP, including the judgment to set standards and challenge implementation decisions. Strong knowledge of IAM, RBAC, networking, WAF, logging, monitoring, secrets management, encryption, key management, and least privilege design. Strong working knowledge of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, Linux, reliability, and production operations. This is not a Kubernetes specialist role. Experience running or coordinating penetration tests, vulnerability scans, dependency scanning, SAST/DAST, cloud posture reviews, and remediation tracking. Good judgment on risk. Able to separate theoretical issues from problems that can actually hurt the business. Experience working with compliance, audit, legal, product, and engineering without turning security into paperwork theatre. Strong written communication. Able to explain technical risk clearly to executives and engineers. Proven experience leading a small technical team while remaining personally hands-on, including setting priorities, allocating work, coaching, and owning outcomes. Our office is in the UAE, and onsite presence is preferred, but we are open to remote candidates.
Strongly preferred
Experience securing trading platforms, investment products, wallets, payments, onboarding/KYC flows, or financial APIs. Experience with modern web, mobile, and backend application stacks. Prior software engineering experience is an advantage. Experience with cloud incident response, breach investigation, forensics basics, or security monitoring. Security certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, OSCP, AWS Security Specialty, GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer, or other credible security certifications. Experience with bug bounty programs or external researcher intake. Experience building security programs in companies where engineering speed still matters.
What this role is not
This is not a classic Head of Dev Ops role. This person will not run every deployment or production operations ticket, but will remain accountable for cloud architecture, security standards, and cloud risk. This is not a platform empire role. The priority is effective ownership of cloud and security, not building a large Dev Ops or platform organization. This is not a policy-only security role. This person must be able to inspect systems, review application and cloud architecture, challenge engineering decisions, and work with engineers until material risks are resolved. This is not a large management role. The function is expected to remain compact, initially the Head plus one engineer or analyst.
What success looks like
Our most important applications have clear threat models and known risk owners. Critical vulnerabilities are found earlier and fixed faster. Cloud architecture, production access, secrets, IAM, network boundaries, and admin surfaces are controlled and reviewed. Security issues are tracked with the same seriousness as product and engineering work. Penetration tests produce fewer surprises over time. Engineering teams know what good security looks like and can apply it without waiting for a committee. Leadership has a clear view of real security risk, not a long list of low-value findings.

ABOUT THE COMPANY & ROLE We are a deep-tech intelligence holding company with multiple business units and acquisitions scaling in parallel.
As the business expands, we are hiring two Junior Cost and Accounting Engineers to help design, build, and govern the cost frameworks that support our growth.
This title is intentional.
These are not traditional accounting or finance reporting roles.
We are looking for individuals who can approach cost management as an engineering discipline - structuring how costs are captured, allocated, analysed, and controlled across the business.
One role will be embedded within the Technology function, while the other will sit within the Commercial function.
As the group continues to grow through new business units and acquisitions, there will also be future opportunities to support acquisition-related cost structures.
COST GOVERNANCE AND ALLOCATION FRAMEWORKS Cost management is not the same as accounting or financial reporting.
While accounting explains what has already happened, this role is focused on designing and governing how costs are structured, allocated, tracked, and controlled across the business.
We are looking for someone who understands cost management as a discipline in its own right — someone who can go beyond running reports and instead build clear cost allocation methodologies, track costs at project and function level, and provide leadership with early visibility before issues become problems.
This role is not for someone who simply reports numbers after the fact.
It is for someone who can understand how costs move through a business, create the right frameworks to manage them, and help leadership make better decisions based on structured, accurate, and forward-looking cost visibility.
WHAT YOU WILL DO · Build cost allocation frameworks within their embedded function from scratch.
· Manage overhead allocations from HQ across business units.
· Track project-wise cost allocations - direct and indirect costs.
· Produce accurate, timely budget reports for their service line without being chased.
· Identify where costs are miscoded, duplicated, or untracked and fix it.
· Give leadership cost visibility in real time, not retrospectively.
· One role will eventually move into acquisitions integration.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR · CMA qualification or active study toward it — this is the primary signal on a CV · Has worked in a tech company, portfolio company, or multi-entity group environment · Has built cost models and allocation frameworks from scratch - not just inherited and maintained them · Understands direct and indirect cost allocation, overhead allocation from HQ, and project-wise cost tracking · Junior or seniority level is not the requirement, genuine technical depth is WHAT KIND OF PERSON ARE WE LOOKING FOR · Technically rigorous - knows this discipline deeply, not generically · Proactive - if data is not there, goes and finds it, does not wait · Can work embedded inside a non-finance function alongside people who do not speak finance · Thinks beyond the report - translates numbers into decisions and flags problems early ROLE SCOPE CLARIFICATION This is not a general accounting, financial control, or month-end reporting role.
While accounting knowledge is valuable, the focus of this position is not limited to producing management accounts, closing reports, or summarizing historical financial performance.
This role is designed for someone who can actively structure, govern, and improve cost visibility across projects, functions, and business units.
Candidates whose experience is primarily limited to running reports or preparing standard accounting outputs may not be aligned with the core purpose of this role.
