Join us.<br> <br>Job Description<br> <br>Inspect and verify all construction materials delivered to site to ensure compliance with approved material submittals, and contract requirements .<br> Check material source approvals, delivery notes, batch certificates, and test reports prior to acceptance and use at site. Carry out sampling and witnessing of laboratory and field tests for soil, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, steel, and other civil materials as per approved ITPs. Ensure materials used for roadworks, bridges, culverts, drainage, and utility works conform to approved specifications and drawings. Monitor storage, handling, and protection of materials to prevent contamination, segregation, or damage. Verify compliance with RTA-approved suppliers, manufacturers, and testing laboratories . Coordinate with the Material Engineer and Site Engineer regarding testing schedules, approvals, and material-related issues. Inspect asphalt paving, concrete works, earthworks, and backfilling to ensure correct materials and workmanship are used. Review and submit Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) related to materials and civil works. Maintain accurate inspection records, test results, and material logs for QA/QC and as-built documentation. Identify non-conforming materials, raise NCRs and site observations , and follow up on corrective actions. Ensure compliance with HSE requirements , especially during material handling, sampling, and testing activities. Monitor material usage and quantities to avoid wastage, misuse, or deviation from approved specifications . Assist in RTA inspections and audits , providing required documentation and site support.
