In this pivotal role, you will serve as a critical quality assurance professional, responsible for ensuring that all structural works meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and specification adherence. Working knowledge of industrial communication protocols relevant to power plants, particularly Modbus TCP/RTU and basic IEC 61850 concepts, is strongly preferred. Solid LV/MV electrical competence is mandatory, including switchgear, RMUs, transformers, circuit breakers, protection relays, LV distribution, UPS/DC systems, auxiliary supplies, switching/isolation, and safe restoration. Must be able to read and use single-line diagrams, control schematics, protection diagrams, interlocking logic, and electrical drawings during troubleshooting and switching activities. Candidate must be capable of distinguishing between an electrical equipment fault, instrumentation/signal issue, communication/network fault, PLC/RTU issue, and SCADA/HMI issue before escalation. Experience in guiding and managing technicians, subcontractors, and site maintenance activities. Good knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and reading electrical drawings/schematics. Knowledge of inverters, transformers, RMUs, solar trackers, and substation equipment. Good understanding of PTW, LOTO, risk assessment, toolbox talk, and HSSE requirements. Basic knowledge of CMMS / maintenance reporting systems. Good communication skills in English. UAE driving license is preferred.</p>
