The General Manager will oversee the overall operations of the holiday homes business, ensuring the company achieves its financial, operational, and customer service goals. This role is critical for driving revenue growth, managing daily operations, budgeting, and optimizing sales strategies to enhance the company’s market presence. The General Manager will also be responsible for leading and motivating the team, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.<br>Key Responsibilities:<br>Develop and execute revenue strategies to increase occupancy rates, average daily rates (ADR), and revenue per available room (Rev PAR). Lead the sales team in achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Implement strategies to increase direct bookings and maximize online travel agency (OTA) listings. Set performance goals for each department, track progress, and provide feedback and support where needed to achieve company objectives. Escalate blockers early.<br>• Direct resolution across design, fit‑out, permits, commissioning, and handover. Maintain delivery velocity and quality through structured issue management.<br>• Implement stage gates and readiness checklists covering technical, operational, and commercial requirements. Close gaps before handover to operations.<br>• Establish defect management and stabilisation plans for the first 90 days after opening. Monitor run‑rate achievement and stabilisation KPIs.<br>• Partner with QA & Food Safety to embed compliance controls and traceability aligned to JV and regulatory requirements.<br>• Drive continuous improvement using performance analytics and customer insights. Scale best practices across units for consistent outcomes.</p><br><p><strong>Stakeholder & Partner Management</strong></p><br><p><br>• Act as the primary interface with the partner (Americana). Maintain transparent communication, trust, and joint decision‑making at executive and working levels.<br>• Facilitate forums with Development, Engineering, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Marketing & Loyalty. Remove silos and accelerate delivery.<br>• Manage structured escalation paths and resolve cross‑functional conflicts.
