And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.<br>Key job responsibilities<br>The Engineering Operations team are AWS’s front-line responders for hands-on troubleshooting and operations of critical infrastructure. As a Trainee, you will:<br>- Assist in maintaining and operating mechanical and electrical equipment.<br>- Support root cause analysis of equipment failures.<br>- Help troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within internal SLAs.<br>- Take daily operational readings of mechanical and electrical equipment.<br>- Use our internal CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to manage workflows.<br>- Work alongside third-party vendors and contractors onsite.<br>- You will work with equipment that supports mission-critical servers, including but not limited to: diesel generators, switchgear, UPSs, PDUs, air handling units, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, motors, VFDs, and building automation systems.<br>Physical Requirements:<br>- Working at heights and from ladders.<br>- Regularly lifting/moving up to 22kg (49lbs) unassisted, and participating in group lifts for heavier loads.<br>- Using hands to handle and manipulate small tools, wires, and objects.<br>About the team<br>About AWS<br>Diverse Experiences<br>AWS values diverse experiences.
