Conduct routine site inspections to verify workmanship, installation quality, and compliance with approved drawings and specifications. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with approved Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Quality Control Procedures, and project requirements. Identify technical issues, material shortages, design conflicts, and site constraints and report them to the responsible engineer or project management team. Coordinate HVAC testing and commissioning activities, including pressure testing, flushing, cleaning, air balancing, water balancing, functional testing, and performance verification. Verify that HVAC systems are properly tested and operational before handover. Ensure inspection requests, checklists, test reports, and relevant quality documentation are completed and submitted as required. Maintain daily manpower reports, work progress reports, equipment utilization records, and site activity reports. Monitor material usage and minimize wastage, rework, and unnecessary consumption. Ensure proper housekeeping and safe storage of materials, tools, and equipment at the worksite. Conduct toolbox talks and ensure that all personnel understand job hazards, control measures, and safe work procedures. Enforce compliance with company and client Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements. Ensure that required permits, risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and work authorizations are available before starting work. Stop unsafe work and immediately report unsafe conditions, incidents, near misses, and hazards. Participate in project meetings, progress reviews, safety meetings, inspections, and coordination meetings. Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, system handover, punch-list clearance, and final project closeout activities. Ensure proper maintenance records and equipment history are maintained for operational and maintenance projects. Assist in troubleshooting HVAC system failures and coordinate corrective and preventive maintenance activities. Perform other duties assigned by the Mechanical Engineer, Project Manager, or Maintenance Manager.<br><br>Qualifications<br><br>Minimum 7–10 years of experience in HVAC installation, construction, maintenance, testing, commissioning, or operations. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a supervisory role. Experience in oil & gas, industrial, petrochemical, power, commercial, or large-scale construction projects is preferred. Ensure that all landscaping work is carried out in compliance with the approved drawings, specifications, local authority regulations, and industry standards. Monitor contractors’ progress and performance, ensuring quality workmanship and timely completion of activities. Conduct site inspections and prepare inspection reports for landscape-related elements. Review and comment on contractors’ method statements, materials submittals, and shop drawings. Coordinate with other site inspectors, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical and construction issues. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any non-conformances identified. Assist the Resident Engineer / Landscape Engineer in monitoring the progress of landscaping works and resolving site issues. <p><strong><u>Job Specific Accountabilities</u></strong></p><ul><li>Plans, directs and supervises Electrical Engineers and Supervisors of Electrical team in maintaining LNG and ASR facility to meet all target key objectives with a focus on improved reliability, availability and performance.</li><li>Responsible for obtaining the objective of Company Maintenance Policy and MMS compliance.</li><li>Provides the necessary support and guidance to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment. Conducts and directs regular audits including risk assessments and safety reviews.</li><li>Carries out proactive review of all Electrical equipment and assets in the LNG and ASR plant with focus on poor performers and recommends Strategies leading to continuous improvement and longevity.</li><li>Provides technical input to modifications, minor projects and technical studies.</li><li>Plans and integrates priorities for planned maintenance and ensure preparation of resource (manpower/equipment/tools/spares) for overhaul.</li><li>Lead the implementation of training and development programs within the Maintenance Department with focus on enhancing capabilities of UAE nationals.</li><li>Directs and supervises ‘Electrical Team Contractors and Vendors’ for the provision of specialist services. This includes the development of Technical Work Scope and Contracts (Electrical Engineer to be responsible for his area’s major activities and TL will direct and supervise). </li><li>Liaise between all stakeholders to progress work to meet the deadlines. </li><li>Organize available resources for optimum utilization; periodically review the adequacy of the support function to provide required service.</li><li>Ensure that all company codes/regulations/engineering practices are adhered to by Department employees.</li><li>Use SAP to direct and supervisor Engineers in monitoring spares and maintenance performance and use the information to develop improvements.
