On contract award prepare method statements, risk assessments, programmes, schedules and progress reports. Assist in the specification and procurement of the equipment required to undertake the contract. Directly supervise site activities (well drilling, pipe laying, pump installation, electrical connection and dewatering system commissioning) ensuring works are carried out safely and according to specification. Ensure works are carried out to the contract programme. Be responsible for collecting, collating, and reporting relevant data (such as: ‘as built’ information, water levels, discharge flows, progress reports) Be thorough and rigorous in checking information and take appropriate action to rectify faults and be proactive in data management. Prepare monthly valuations and organise variation claim documents. Coordinate with Designs Team on design changes based on actual ground condition or client program. Asset Protection Ensure all assets, stocks and materials are always in good working order Ensure maintenance regimes are followed, and records are kept up to date Ensure all assets are protected as practicable by site conditions and any damages reported immediately to the Operations/ Plant & Maintenance Manager Health Safety & Environment Coordinate with Field H&S Officer over standards.
