Independently complete Preventive Maintenance Tasks (PMTs) and Daily Readiness (DR) on all devices and associated systems. Oversee and sign off the work of Simulator Support Assistants on more complex PMTs/tasks. Keep PMT/DR records accurate, up to date and always available. Run recurrent QTGs and perform first-line troubleshooting using schematics and aircraft/device system documentation. Use the Maintenance Management System to record, track and review maintenance activity. Support recurrent data and content updates (Nav DB, Terr DB, OIS and EFB charts, documents and performance data), including IOS lesson plan uploads and troubleshooting. Maintain accurate records of all updates. Maintain stock control of consumables and tooling, and raise requests to ensure the team has what it needs to complete PMTs and DR activities. Support logistics activities such as annual inventories, stores re-organisation, packing and shipping preparation. Carry out housekeeping and administrative tasks to support the Technical Services group as required. The Fire Alarm Technician shall perform inspecting, testing, and maintenance for ADAB’s fire alarm network, which include Fire Alarm Control panel (FACP’s), Fire Alarm Transceivers (FAT’s), and the Fire Alarm Central Dispatching Center (Monaco D-21) in a manner that will ensure their serviceability and operation.<br><br>Essential Responsibilities:<br><br>Perform recurring preventive maintenance on installed fire detection and alarm systems IAW UFC 3-601-02, NFPA Standards and manufacturer’s instructions in order to ensure the inspection of testing of installed fire detection, fire door, and alarm system at least once each contract year. Perform corrective maintenance on installed fire detection, fire alarm, fire door, and mass notification systems IAW applicable UFC 3-601-02, NFPA Standards and manufacturer’s instructions, to return a system or component to full operating condition. Perform repair on installed fire detection, fire alarm, and mass notification systems IAW UFC 3-601-02, NFPA Standards and manufacturer’s instructions, to return a system or component to full operating condition. Respond within all emergency service calls (1As) within thirty (30) minutes of initial notification from customer, COR, or Customer Service Unit to repair an installed automatic fire alarm system with no late responses allowed. Provide quarterly training to Air Force personnel (such as firefighters) on simple procedures for clearing the various Fire Alarm Systems and components and resetting fire alarm panels to restore operational capability. For each newly constructed facility, the Contractor shall install a new antenna mast (Government provided), connect the transceiver to the installed panel, program the new fire alarm panel to the Monaco system, and test the installation to ensure that the system is effectively communicating with the Monaco equipment (i.e., if any detector goes off in the building, the alarm is sent to ECC Fire Dispatch). Provide technical advice when requested by the COR for fire protection systems work proposed on work requests by other base agencies. <br><br>Qualifications / Education:<br><br>Must have an Inspection and Testing of Fire Alarm Systems Level II certification from NICET with 3 years’ experience. Registered, licensed, or certified by a state or local authority. Highschool Diploma or equivalent. All personnel must be able to fluently read, write, speak, and understand English. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel. Valid US or local driver's license and US passport. Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance. About The Role<br><br>We are seeking a highly motivated Specialist Onboard Telemetry to join our Engineering team. This role is responsible for the design, development, integration, and execution of onboard telemetry systems supporting flight test activities for precision-guided munitions (PGMs) and advanced weapon systems. The successful candidate will play a critical role in telemetry preparation, flight test execution, data acquisition, signal conditioning, metadata configuration, and post-test analysis. Constantly ensure that all the HMIs/control panels are operating correctly and all the indications and displayed information are accurate and reliable.
Monitor the chemical levels/consumption and with coordination with plant operators carry out the necessary adjustment to achieve optimum plant performance, ordering required chemicals with due consideration to chemical saving and minimising costs.
Ensure minimum energy/power consumption by optimum utilisation of major equipment (SWPs, BRPs etc.).
Vigilantly initiate start-up or shutdown of evaporators as per the operation procedures or given instructions to avoid any adverse impact on plant equipment.
Promptly raise notifications for rectification of defects in the plant to avoid/minimise breakdowns and downtime.
Effective application of the Standard Operating and Emergency Procedures that he must be thoroughly conversant with in demanding circumstances to ensure the security of the plant and safety of the operators.
Ensure that daily / weekly & Monthly calculations are complete, accurate and expediently recorded for the followings:
