<p>The Senior People & Communications Specialist plays a key role in delivering an exceptional employee experience by managing and continuously improving HR operations, employee lifecycle processes, and people programs. Working closely with project managers, site teams, procurement, clients, consultants, and subcontractors, we provide accurate cost forecasting, valuation, and commercial oversight throughout the project lifecycle. Through strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to risk management, our team ensures projects are delivered within budget while maximizing value and maintaining contractual compliance. From tendering and procurement to variations, claims, and final account settlement, we support informed decision-making and contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality construction projects.<br>Your Role Prepare interim valuations and assess subcontractor payment applications. Support procurement and negotiation of subcontractor packages. Track and manage approved variations and cost changes. Assist in preparing monthly cost/value reconciliations (CVRs). Draft correspondence and commercial notices under supervision. Monitor site progress and update cost projections accordingly. Liaise with site teams to verify quantities and resource allocations. Prepare final accounts for smaller packages and assist in project close-out. Undertake any other reasonable duties and/or responsibilities as required by management, to meet the needs of the business.<br>What We’re Looking For Strong numeracy and analytical skills. Good knowledge of construction contracts and procurement. Effective communication and negotiation ability. Competent in MS Excel and commercial reporting tools. Organised, with strong attention to documentation. Regional or Middle East commercial experience in construction preferably fitout. <p>The Planning Engineer – Interior Fit-Out is responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules for interior fit-out and refurbishment projects. The role ensures projects are completed on time by preparing detailed work programs, tracking progress, identifying delays, and coordinating with project teams to implement corrective actions. The Planning Engineer supports project delivery through effective planning, scheduling, resource management, and progress reporting. Develop detailed project schedules, baseline programs, and work breakdown structures (WBS) for interior fit-out projects. Prepare project execution plans, resource-loaded schedules, procurement schedules, and material delivery plans. Monitor project progress against the approved baseline schedule and identify schedule variances. Perform critical path analysis and recommend corrective actions to mitigate delays. Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement, design, and commercial teams to ensure alignment with project timelines. Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, look-ahead schedules, dashboards, and recovery plans. Update project schedules based on actual site progress and approved changes. Monitor manpower, equipment, and material utilization to optimize project performance. Track procurement, fabrication, delivery, and installation activities to ensure timely completion. Participate in project progress meetings and present schedule updates to management, consultants, and clients. Assist in evaluating extension of time (EOT) claims and delay analysis. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related discipline. Minimum 5–8 years of planning experience in interior fit-out and construction projects within the UAE/GCC. Experience in commercial, hospitality, residential, retail, healthcare, and office fit-out projects. Experience in turnkey interior fit-out and bespoke joinery projects. Experience preparing tender programs and recovery schedules. Knowledge of Power BI or project reporting tools is an advantage. Familiarity with authority requirements and construction regulations. Key Responsibilities: Assist Project Managers in coordinating day-to-day project activities for interior fit-out projects. Coordinate communication between project teams, clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers. Maintain project documentation including drawings, approvals, reports, correspondence, and meeting records. Track project progress, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely completion. Prepare and maintain project trackers, action lists, and status reports. Coordinate submission and follow-up of shop drawings, material submittal, samples, and approvals.
