Successful candidates will have a proven background as a HSE Engineer working on high profile projects in the UAE and must have worked for recognised Main Contracting Companies in the capacity of HSE Engineer previously.</p><br><p>This role is available for immediate joining and is hiring on a temporary to permanent basis as an initial 6 month contract position, outsourced through J10 Consulting, with the option to transfer to staff after 6 months to suit all parties.</p><br><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p>HSE Management &amp; Compliance: Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and systems in line with UAE laws and international standards.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with Municipality and authority requirements.</p></li><li><p>Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.</p></li><li><p>Prepare and submit HSE documentation, reports, and permits required by authorities.</p></li><li><p>Site Safety &amp; Operations: Monitor daily site activities to ensure safe work practices are followed.</p></li><li><p>Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive measures.</p></li><li><p>Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions for staff and subcontractors.</p></li><li><p>Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports and implement corrective actions.</p></li><li><p>Authority &amp; Client Coordination: Liaise with government authorities during inspections and audits.</p></li><li><p>Support management during authority visits and compliance reviews.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors on HSE-related matters.</p></li><li><p>Documentation &amp; Reporting: Maintain HSE records including incident logs, training records, permits, and inspections.</p></li><li><p>Prepare weekly and monthly HSE reports for management.</p></li><li><p>Ensure proper implementation of method statements, risk assessments (RA), and HSE plans.</p></li></ul><br><br></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><p><strong>HSE Engineer Experience:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health &amp; Safety, or related field.</p></li><li><p>Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in the UAE, at least 2 in recognised main contracting companies</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of UAE HSE laws, regulations, and authority requirements.</p></li><li><p>Experience dealing with local Municipality and other local authorities.</p></li><li><p>Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent (mandatory). OSHAD preferred</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication and reporting skills.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites</p></li></ul><p></p></section>
