Job Purpose<br>The MEP Planning Engineer is responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects. The role ensures timely execution of projects through effective planning, resource allocation, progress tracking, risk assessment, and coordination with project stakeholders to achieve project milestones, contractual deadlines, and business objectives.<br>Key Responsibilities<br>Project Planning & Scheduling Prepare detailed baseline project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project. Develop project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), activity sequences, logic links, and critical paths. Establish project milestones, key deliverables, and completion targets. Prepare integrated project programs covering engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover activities. Create recovery schedules and mitigation plans for delayed projects.<br>Progress Monitoring & Control Monitor project progress against approved baseline schedules. Track actual progress, identify variances, and analyze impacts on project delivery. Conduct critical path and schedule performance analysis. Prepare weekly and monthly schedule updates. Highlight risks, delays, and bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.<br>Resource & Cost Planning Develop manpower histograms and resource loading schedules. Prepare equipment utilization plans and productivity reports. Coordinate with project teams to optimize resource allocation. Support project cash flow forecasting and cost-loaded schedules.<br>Risk Management & Claims Support Identify scheduling risks and develop mitigation strategies. Conduct schedule risk assessments and what-if scenario analyses. Support extension of time (EOT), variation, and claim submissions by providing schedule analysis and supporting documentation. Monitor project delays and maintain delay registers.<br>Coordination & Stakeholder Management Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, Commercial, and Design teams. Participate in project progress meetings and planning reviews. Liaise with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers on schedule-related matters. Ensure alignment of project activities with contractual obligations and client requirements.<br>Reporting & Documentation Prepare weekly, monthly, and executive management progress reports. Generate S-curves, earned value reports, dashboards, and schedule analytics. Present project status reports to management, consultants, and clients. Maintain planning documentation and schedule records.<br>Qualifications & Experience required<br>Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical / Electrical preferred). Minimum 5–10 years of experience in project planning and scheduling. Strong background in MEP projects (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing). Proficient in Primavera P6 (mandatory). Experience in schedule development, updating, monitoring, and reporting. Knowledge of resource loading, cost loading, and progress measurement. Experience in baseline preparation, delay analysis, and recovery planning. Familiarity with EVM (Earned Value Management) and project controls practices is preferred. Good knowledge of construction sequencing and MEP installation activities. Proficient in Excel and reporting dashboards. Strong communication and coordination skills with project teams. Position Summary Our client is seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer – Electrical & Mechanical (MEP) to join their project team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high-rise building construction with a strong background in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing quality assurance and quality control procedures, ensuring all MEP works comply with project specifications, approved drawings, international standards, and local authority regulations. The role requires close coordination with consultants, subcontractors, project teams, and clients to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.<br>Key Responsibilities Quality Assurance & Quality Control Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures in accordance with the company's Quality Management System (QMS). Conduct routine inspections of electrical and mechanical installations to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable codes and standards. Monitor site activities to ensure all MEP works are executed in accordance with approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and Method Statements. Coordinate and submit Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs) with consultants. Verify that all materials delivered to site comply with approved material submittals and project requirements. Ensure subcontractors follow approved quality procedures and maintain complete inspection records.<br>Inspection & Testing Carry out inspections for mechanical and electrical systems including:HVAC Systems Chilled Water & Plumbing Systems Fire Fighting & Fire Alarm Systems Low Voltage (LV) Systems Lighting & Power Distribution ELV Systems BMS Integration Witness testing and commissioning activities for all MEP systems. Ensure all testing documentation is completed, reviewed, and approved.<br>Documentation & Compliance Prepare and maintain quality documentation including:Inspection Reports WIRs & MIRsNon-Conformance Reports (NCRs) Corrective Action Reports (CARs) Quality Checklists Material Approval Records Review shop drawings, technical submittals, and material approvals before installation. Maintain quality records for project handover and final documentation.<br>Non-Conformance Management Identify quality issues and non-conformities during construction. Raise NCRs where necessary and monitor corrective and preventive actions until closure. Conduct root cause analysis and recommend improvements to prevent recurrence. Follow up on punch list items and ensure timely closure.<br>Coordination Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, site engineers, and commissioning teams to resolve quality-related issues. Participate in quality meetings and provide regular QA/QC progress reports. Support project teams during consultant inspections and authority approvals.<br>Handover & Commissioning Assist in preparing testing and commissioning documentation. Support snagging, de-snagging, and final project handover. Ensure all QA/QC documentation is completed and submitted prior to project completion.<br>Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. QA/QC certifications such as ISO 9001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor are an advantage. Additional certifications related to quality management or MEP systems are preferred.

Role Summary<br><br>The Lead Planning engineer has to prepare the work programs as per the guidelines provided by the Projects Team and monitor the progress of the project against the plan to ensure its completion within the specified time frame and within allocated budgets.<br><br>Role Description<br><br> Preparing tender programmes, clause 14 programmes, resource histogram and review with Planning Manager. We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Safety Engineer with proven experience in the construction industry, particularly in steel structure projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations while supporting the planning, execution, and successful completion of projects across the UAE.<br>Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with project HSE plans, UAE safety regulations, and client requirements. Prepare and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS). Identify hazards associated with construction activities such as working at height, excavation, lifting operations, and hot works. Conduct safety induction for new workers. Train workers on PPE usage, emergency procedures, and safe work practices. Review and monitor PTW for high-risk activities (confined spaces, lifting, hot work, etc.). Ensure permits are properly issued, validated, and closed after completion. Investigate accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions. Prepare incident reports with root cause analysis and corrective actions. Ensure all workers are provided with and correctly using PPE (helmets, gloves, harnesses, etc.). Inspect safety equipment such as scaffolding, lifting gear, fire extinguishers, and machinery safety devices. Maintain HSE records including inspection reports, audit reports, training records, and incident logs. Ensure emergency response plans are in place and communicated. Conduct emergency drills (fire, evacuation, rescue operations). Coordinate with first aid teams and emergency responders. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations in the UAE.<br>Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Professional HSE certification such as NEBOSH IGC, IOSH Managing Safely, OSHA, or an equivalent qualification. <br>Required Skills Strong understanding of steel structure fabrication, installation, and construction processes. Excellent project coordination and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines. Strong documentation and reporting skills. <br><br>Preferred Qualifications Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in the UAE construction industry. Proven experience in steel structure fabrication and erection projects. Experience working on commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or high-rise construction projects.
