<p>We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Chief Engineer to oversee all engineering, maintenance, and physical operations within Dusit Ajman Resort & Villas. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal comfort for guests and staff by maintaining efficient, reliable, and energy-effective operations across the entire property, including our luxury guest rooms, villas, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.</p><br><br>
<p>Key Responsibilities:<br>
• Daily Operations: Oversee the daily operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and water treatment systems across the resort and villas.<br>
• Preventative Maintenance: Design and execute a strict, resort-wide Preventative Maintenance (PM) program for guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to eliminate downtime.<br>
• Energy & Sustainability: Track, analyze, and optimize power and water consumption to reduce utility costs and support environmental initiatives.<br>
• Team Leadership: Lead, schedule, and train a multi-skilled engineering and maintenance team to ensure prompt, high-quality response times.<br>
• Financial Management: Prepare and manage the department’s annual operating budget and Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) plans for major asset upgrades.<br>
• Contractor Oversight: Select, negotiate with, and supervise specialized third-party contractors and vendors to ensure all external work meets hotel standards.<br>

• Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive engineering experience in luxury 5-star hotels or resorts, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.<br>

• Technical Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of hotel-wide MEP systems, civil maintenance, resort-villa layouts, and hotel infrastructure.<br>
• Core Skills: Exceptional troubleshooting capabilities, strong leadership presence, and fluency in English (both written and verbal).<br>
