Our client is a market leader in providing relocation support to companies and individuals moving to the Middle East, and this role will see you acting as a trusted representative of the organisation throughout the relocation process.
As a Relocation Consultant, you will support clients moving to Abu Dhabi, providing a professional and highly personalised service from their initial orientation through to finding a home, arranging school visits and helping them settle into their new surroundings. You will be the face of the organisation when dealing with clients, landlords, estate agents, schools, service providers and other third parties, so a confident, professional and personable approach is essential.
You will introduce clients to Abu Dhabi and help them understand the different areas of the city, accompany them on property and school viewings, and assist with the practicalities of settling into the UAE. This may include supporting clients with Emirates ID, driving licence, bank account, e-gate and other residency and settling-in requirements. You will also liaise with landlords, agents, schools, utility providers and other service providers, ensuring that requirements are followed through and any potential issues are identified and resolved promptly.</p><p>The role requires someone who is highly organised and comfortable managing several clients and tasks at the same time. Accurate administration, maintaining records and tracking outstanding requirements are an important part of the position, alongside regular communication with both clients and the internal team.
We are looking for an individual with previous experience in customer service, hospitality, travel, relocation or another highly client-focused environment. You will need excellent written and spoken English, a genuine understanding of the stresses and sensitivities involved in relocating, and the ability to remain calm, diplomatic and solutions-focused when dealing with challenging situations.
Previous experience of living and working in the UAE is essential, together with a good knowledge of Abu Dhabi, its neighbourhoods and infrastructure and a sound understanding of UAE procedures relating to residency and relocation. Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and confidence using Microsoft Office and web-based portals are also required.
A valid UAE driving licence and the confidence to drive in Abu Dhabi is essential for this field-based role.
