Maintain survey equipment and ensure calibration records are up to date. Setting-Out Assistance Assist with marking out reference points, grids, and levels for civil and infrastructure works. Verify setting-out points against design drawings before handover to construction teams. Survey Equipment Handling Assist in the safe transport, setup, and storage of survey instruments on site. Report instrument faults or damage promptly to the Land Surveyor. Site Documentation Support Maintain field notebooks and survey logs in line with project record-keeping requirements. <p>Our International Engineering Consultancy Client has a new requirement for a well experienced Land Surveyor to join their team in Dubai to work on high profile new RTA infrastructure projects. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Land Surveyor working on high profile roads and highways projects in the UAE with prior experience in working for recognised Consultancy Companies. Previous RTA approval as Land Surveyor would be highly advantageous.
This role is available for immediate joining and is for an initial 6 month contract as an outsourced employee through J10 Consulting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform land/field surveys and geodetic calculations.
• Interface with client and contractors to determine and verify project survey requirements.
• Complete the surveying requirements on schedule and within man-hour and cost budgets.
• Check setting-out and levels. Check services locations and ensure their protection.
• Prepare sketches to support the field work. Maintain all the survey information (field books, sketches and calculations).
• Measure work done when required.
• Observe site safety procedures.
