<p>The Khalil Research Group at NYU Abu Dhabi invites applications for a Senior Research Scientist to work on the development and application of covalent organic frameworks (COFs) for advanced water treatment and energy storage solutions. The successful candidate will join a young yet highly energytic team dedicated to leveraging chemistry, reaction engineering, and manufacturing principles to address pressing challenges in the water and energy sectors.</p><br><br>
<p>The appointed Senior Research Scientist will conduct independent research on high-throughput COF synthesis, focusing on their scalability and practical application. Key responsibilities include builidng automated setups, designing devices, processing materials, conducting experiments, publishing high-quality research, and contributing to the group’s funding efforts. The position provides a unique opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility and engage with a collaborative and diverse research<br>community at NYUAD.</p><br><br>
<p>Applicants must have a PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, with at least 10 years of relevant experience in their field (not including the years obtaining the PhD or equivalent terminal degree) along with extensive research and publication in well-known journals and conference papers or similar research accomplishments.
