The role leads supplier engagement, commercial evaluations, contract negotiations, and coordination with engineering, construction, logistics, and project management teams.</p><br><br><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><br><br><p><b>Procurement Management</b></p><br><br><ul><li>Lead procurement activities for major equipment packages and bulk materials related to offshore water injection facilities.</li><li>Prepare and implement project procurement plans, sourcing strategies, and purchasing schedules.</li><li>Ensure procurement activities align with project milestones and delivery requirements.</li><li>Monitor procurement progress and provide regular status reports to project management.</li></ul><p><b>Tendering &amp; Supplier Management</b></p><br><br><ul><li>Prepare RFQs, ITBs, commercial bid evaluations, and recommendation reports.</li><li>Coordinate with engineering disciplines to develop technical bid packages.</li><li>Conduct supplier prequalification, market assessments, and vendor performance evaluations.</li><li>Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, delivery schedules, warranties, and payment conditions.</li></ul><p><b>Contract &amp; Commercial Administration</b></p><br><br><ul><li>Review and negotiate procurement contracts and purchase orders.</li><li>Identify and mitigate commercial risks throughout the procurement cycle.</li><li>Manage variation orders, claims, and contractual correspondences.</li><li>Ensure compliance with project, client, and corporate procurement policies.</li></ul><p><b>Expediting &amp; Logistics Coordination</b></p><br><br><ul><li>Monitor supplier manufacturing progress and delivery schedules.</li><li>Coordinate with expediting, inspection, and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery.</li><li>Resolve procurement bottlenecks and supplier performance issues.</li><li>Support customs clearance and transportation planning for critical project materials.</li></ul><p><b>Stakeholder Coordination</b></p><br><br><ul><li>Interface with project management, engineering, QA/QC, construction, and vendors.</li><li>Participate in project review meetings and procurement progress reviews.</li><li>Support client audits and procurement reporting requirements.</li><li>Lead procurement team members and provide mentorship where required.</li></ul><br><p><b>Key Equipment &amp; Packages</b></p><br><br><p>Procurement experience in one or more of the following is highly desirable:</p><br><br><ul><li>Water Injection Pumps</li><li>Seawater Lift Pumps</li><li>Filtration Packages</li><li>Deaeration Systems</li><li>Chemical Injection Packages</li><li>Pressure Vessels</li><li>Heat Exchangers</li><li>Offshore Structural Materials</li><li>Piping, Valves, and Fittings (PVF)</li><li>Electrical Equipment</li><li>Instrumentation &amp; Control Systems</li><li>Subsea and Offshore Equipment Packages</li></ul><br><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><br><br><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Industrial, or related discipline).</li><li>Professional procurement certifications (CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent) are advantageous.</li></ul><br><p><b>Experience</b></p><br><br><ul><li>15-18+ years of procurement experience in Oil &amp; Gas, EPC, or Offshore projects.</li><li>Minimum 5 years in a Lead Procurement Engineer or Procurement Lead role.</li><li>Proven experience delivering procurement packages for offshore upstream facilities, water injection projects, platforms, FPSOs, or subsea developments.</li><li>Strong knowledge of international procurement practices and contract management.</li></ul><br><br><br><br> </div>
