Contribute to the design and development of new APC control systems, and test, maintain, and modify existing systems. Monitor and inspect the Contractor's instrumentation and controls (I&C) installation for progress, compliance with the Contract and applicable codes / standards, quality, and safety / environmental acceptance. Review and approve site I&C and OPC equipment design and engineering, and the Contractor's proposed APC test procedures; witness tests and review the related test reports. Review and confirm the completeness and correctness of installation and configuration Handover Packages, preliminary documentation, and commissioning O&M manuals. Maintain records of variations raised by the Contractor or ADNOC / Client, with supporting evidence, and prepare regular I&C / APC site progress reports. Coordinate with IT / OT and Digital Oil Fields focal points, and align I&C works with civil, mechanical, and electrical works to avoid conflicts and delays. Attend daily and weekly site coordination meetings and monthly progress reviews; liaise with clients, suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders. Ensure safety functions are integrated across all work and ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards, especially ADNOC requirements. Qualifications Degree in Control and Instrumentation Engineering, Process Engineering, or Electronic Engineering. At least 7 years of professional experience in Advanced Process Control (APC), specifically with Aspen Tech and Honeywell. At least 5 years of onsite installation, configuration, and support experience as a lead engineer, including closing out all project stages. Mandatory knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) — _preferably Honeywell, Yokogawa, Schneider, Siemens, and / or ABB. Mandatory knowledge and experience in OT / IT network architecture. Mandatory experience with OPC servers and knowledge of the OSI PI historian. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge and experience in firewall configuration. Previous CICPA and Optima experience. Knowledge and experience with ADNOC HSE safety standards and requirements. Process-simulation experience (Aspen HYSYS, Honeywell Uni Sim, or Aspen Plus). Exposure to real-time optimisation (RTO) and closed-loop / autonomous operations initiatives. Experience developing and maintaining inferential / soft-sensor models.
