Role Description The Construction Manager will oversee and coordinate day-to-day site activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with quality and safety standards. Responsibilities include managing site teams and subcontractors, planning and sequencing construction activities, monitoring progress, and resolving on-site issues. The role involves preparing and reviewing work schedules, coordinating materials and equipment, and ensuring compliance with construction safety regulations and company procedures. The Construction Manager will collaborate closely with project control, engineering, procurement, and client representatives to track budgets, variations, and project documentation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi. Qualifications Strong construction management knowledge with hands-on experience in Construction and Project Control on building and infrastructure projects. With minimum of 10 yrs relevant experience in Construction site Proven Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, coordination of subcontractors, and performance monitoring. Demonstrated ability in Budgeting, cost tracking, and supporting commercial teams with forecasts and variations. Solid understanding of Construction Safety, with a consistent record of enforcing safety standards and regulatory compliance on site. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Experience managing projects in government, healthcare, education, or residential sectors is an advantage. Proficiency in construction scheduling and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and strong report-writing skills. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Role Description The Civil Engineer will work on-site in Dubai in a full-time capacity, supporting the planning, design, and execution of civil and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations, as well as coordinating with architects, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure compliance with project requirements. The role involves overseeing site activities, monitoring progress, and ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality benchmarks, and local regulations. The Civil Engineer will also assist with stormwater and drainage solutions, conduct site inspections, prepare technical reports, and provide timely updates to project management. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and effective communication with stakeholders are key aspects of this position. Qualifications Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to apply core engineering principles to real-world projects. Experience working as part of Civil Engineering teams, collaborating effectively with other Civil Engineers and technical staff. Proficiency in project Planning, including scheduling, resource coordination, and progress tracking. Knowledge of Stormwater Management, drainage design, and related infrastructure systems. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field; professional certification or registration is an advantage. Familiarity with relevant design and drafting software (e.g., Auto CAD, Civil 3D, or similar) and competency with MS Office tools. Understanding of local building codes, standards, and regulatory requirements applicable in Dubai or the wider GCC region. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality. Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills are a plus. Ability to work on-site, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing project needs and timelines.
