<ul><li><p>To perform the professional duties of an endocrinologist in accordance with the delineation of privileges as recommended and approved by the CPC.</p></li><li><p>To perform his duties in the Endocrinology Clinic, evaluating patients with hormonal diseases.</p></li><li><p>Provides after working hours on call emergency coverage for endocrinology. emergencies.</p></li><li><p>To perform endocrinal procedures – dynamic hormonal test in appropriate patient</p></li><li><p>To provide consultation/referral services to the in patient services in his area of expertise.</p></li><li><p>To work with the patients throughout the entire process starting from consultation to treatment plan.</p></li><li><p>Provides supervision and education to the staff nurses, patients and technicians.</p></li><li><p>Participates and contributes to all the quality assurance activities of the service (e.g. monthly mortality and morbidity conference, peer review, audit and chart review).</p></li><li><p>Performs additional duties as designated by the Head of the Department.</p></li><li><p>Provide a comprehensive professional and ethical quality clinical services to patients in an effective and efficient manner.</p></li><li><p>Monitor and manage clinical risks associated with direct patient care.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with clinical governance and quality management standards.</p></li><li><p>Maintain accurate medical records.</p></li><li><p>Ensure excellence in medical practice is maintained by focusing on continuous professional development of self and others.</p></li><li><p>Maintain integrity in professional services by executing clinical services in an ethical and responsible manner</p></li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li><p>At least 3 - 5 years’ post qualification experience&nbsp;at&nbsp;Specialist&nbsp;level</p></li><li><p>Basic medical degree and completion of a specialty qualification/education programme (fellowship/diploma)&nbsp;recognised&nbsp;by&nbsp;the&nbsp;relevant UAE healthcare authority.</p></li><li><p>Certification and registration in a speciality recognised by relevant UAE healthcare authority.&nbsp;Active and valid life support certification&nbsp;(e.g.&nbsp;BLS,&nbsp;ACLS,&nbsp;PALS,&nbsp;ATLS, NRP)</p></li><li><p>Eligibility for relevant healthcare authority registration e.g. Membership from Royal College /&nbsp;Arab Board Certification /&nbsp;MS&nbsp;/&nbsp;DM </p></li></ul>
