This role requires expert knowledge in mechanical design, integrity, gas turbine propulsion, planning for projects and ability to develop individuals.<br><br>Key Responsibilities:<br><br>Design and optimize the gas turbine systems for life, weight, manufacturability and cost. Carry out thermo-mechanical simulations at design, off-design and far off-design conditions to ensure safety and operability. Carry out creep, fatigue and fracture assessments Carry out vibration and rotodynamic analysis Carry out Stress Assessment, Low Cycle Fatigue and High Cycle Fatigue Assessments Carry out FMECA (Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis) to support the safety and operability assessments Support FEA methodology development activities Support other team members, develop junior engineers and provide constructive feedback Review the designs, simulations, prepare engineering reports and generate testing guidelines Identify project risks and plan for mitigation<br><br>Qualifications & Experience:<br><br>Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering degree or a related field. Strong background in gas turbine propulsion, mechanical design, integrity and heat transfer. Solid background in Mechanics of Materials Experience in whole engine structural analysis, clearance assessments is a plus. Experience in bearing performance assessment is a plus. Fluent in English Experience: 5-15 years or more.<br><br>Skills:<br><br>Technical skills in one or a combination of stated topics. Proficient in one of design packages such as Solidworks, Siemens NX or similar. Expertise with commercial FEA Software (ANSYS, Hyperworks, Simcenter Nastran etc.) Experience in FEA, or lower order simulation methods. Experience in programming using C, Matlab/Simulink or similar. Awareness on the state-of-the-art technologies in materials, aerodynamics, and structural mechanics to link with structural analysis for gas turbine propulsion Good communication and presentation skills to interact with team members, clients, and vendors. Job Purpose<br><br>To plan and coordinate of maintenance activities for components and other workshop units. The Workshop Planning Engineer is responsible for creating detailed schedules, assigning daily work targets, tracking progress, and preparing performance reports, ensuring optimal use of manpower and resources within the workshop.<br><br>Key Result Responsibilities<br><br>Receive work scopes and shop visit requests from CAMO or Component Planning teams. Prepare detailed schedules for shop visits Plan, allocate, and communicate daily work assignments and targets to workshop technicians. Monitor progress against plan and adjust schedules as necessary to meet turnaround time (TAT) commitments. Coordinate with Quality, Logistics, Tooling, and Stores to ensure timely availability of required parts, tools, and documentation. Track work-in-progress (WIP) and maintain real-time updates in AMOS,Escalate issues that may cause delays (e.g., material shortages, findings, manpower constraints). Prepare post-visit reports analyzing TAT, labor hours, delays, non-routines, and findings. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on workshop efficiency, scheduling, and resource utilization. Participate in daily planning meetings and cross-department coordination with stakeholders. Planning of materials, consumables and tooling for workshops. Management of AMOS-CROM & CMP projects.<br><br>People Management<br><br>Provides direction, coaching and guidance to team members for their career and professional development. Ensures people management responsibilities are handled effectively in line with company procedures.<br><br>Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages)<br><br>Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical / Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline. Proficient in building and managing Gantt charts and detailed schedules. Clear and effective communicator, both written and verbal, across departments and levels. Familiar with airline or MRO operations, maintenance procedures, and technical documentation. Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Power Point for reporting. Understanding of workshop processes and turnaround planning. Awareness of human factors in aircraft maintenance activities.<br><br>Work Experience<br><br>4+ years of experience in workshop maintenance planning. Experience using project planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and maintenance software such as AMOS TRAX (AMOS Preferred).
Job Description<br><br>Job Overview: <br><br>Sr. Hook-up Engineer will typically be leading the respective discipline and supporting to Hook-up lead & Hook-up Manager in delivering construction & completion campaign during hook-up phase to execute overall project in successful and timely manner. The Sr. Hook Up Engineer solves complex problems and uses discipline-specific knowledge to improve their products or services.<br><br>Responsibilities<br><br>Key Tasks and Responsibilities:<br><br>Prepare & review Hook Up job cards as appropriate including pre-requisites and focusing sequential installations and relevant completion activities Develop the WBS for discipline scope Review construction work packs for respective discipline and ensure compliance to project requirement Prepare the hook-up schedule for discipline specific activities with efficient sequencing and synchronizing with other disciplines Participate in Pre-engineering survey, pre-construction survey & post installation survey Develop the constructability log & monitor the closing of actions on weekly basis Review design MTO’s for discipline Verify the MTO for offshore contingencies Review the material requisitions in compliance with project specifications prior to order Coordinate deliveries of same on site (yard/port/offshore/any other onshore locations) Review hook-up progress register and confirm understanding on progressing methodology Ensure progress register is in line with hook-up job cards for respective discipline Liaise with warehouse team to ensure project material receiving status & inspection clearance from Quality Liaise with fabrication team and take handover of fabricated project material and other ship lose material Liaise with Hook-up material team and verify the material bag/tag as per project requirement & as per hook-up Job cards Develop and implement detailed hook-up plans, , and strategies for onshore and offshore projects Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers, ensuring their adherence to project timelines and quality standards Collaborate with project management and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of necessary resources, materials, and equipment Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures to ensure safety during hook-up operations Ensure compliance with project requirements, industry codes, and standards, including the integration of environmental and sustainability aspects Ensure daily progress monitoring & reporting to planner Liaise with commissioning team and understand systems priorities, ensure construction is planned accordingly Ensure the support with commissioning team to expedite the vendor related activities Ensure scope familiarization with Hook-up superintendent & offshore construction crew prior to offshore mobilization Travel to offshore sites and to onshore yard facilities (dynamic environment) for co-ordination & resolution of disciplinary interfaces Participate in Toolbox Talks (TBT), Ensure Permit-To-Work (PTW) requirements are fulfilled before commencing each site activities and being compliant with the Company’s QHSES policies <br><br>Qualifications<br><br>Essential Qualifications and Education:<br><br>Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical discipline) or equivalent industry experience10+ years’ experience in related offshore engineering fields Strong knowledge of industry best practices, standards (API, ISO), and regulations related to hook-up activities Proficiency in utilizing project management tools and software for planning, scheduling, and tracking hook-up and commissioning activities Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively liaise with interdisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and clients Demonstrated ability to resolve technical challenges, implement innovative solutions, and ensure continuous improvement Proactive mindset with a strong focus on safety, quality, and delivering projects within defined timelines and budget constraints Competent in analyzing technical documents, drawings, and specifications to identify discrepancies and propose corrective actions Strong decision-making abilities under pressure, with the ability to prioritize tasks and allocate resources efficiently Professional certifications (such as PMI or equivalent) or training in project management would be an advantage<br><br>About Us<br><br>Our ingenuity fuels daily life. Preparing and implementing Project Quality plan.
