. Job Purpose Provide reliable, responsive and secure day-to-day IT support across GJ Properties. The role is responsible for end-user support, user onboarding and access, office technology, network connectivity, telephony, business applications, meeting-room systems, digital displays and assigned physical-security/low-voltage systems. The IT Support Engineer acts as the first point of technical support, resolves issues within agreed service levels and escalates infrastructure, application or vendor issues when required.2. Key Responsibilities A. Service Desk & End-User Support· Provide Level 1 and Level 2 onsite and remote support for desktops, laptops, operating systems, corporate email, browsers, printers, scanners, peripherals and approved business applications.· Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, driver, connectivity and user-profile issues; escalate unresolved or high-impact incidents with clear technical findings.· Perform daily operational readiness checks for critical office technology, including designated PCs, meeting rooms, TVs/displays, sound systems, token/queue systems and other business-critical devices.· Prioritize urgent executive, boardroom and operational incidents to minimize business disruption and keep the Head of IT informed of critical issues and restoration status.· Maintain service records, troubleshooting notes and incident status so recurring issues can be identified and permanently addressed. B. User Onboarding, Offboarding & Access• Set up and configure new users, including Windows profiles, corporate email/signature, printer access, shared resources, phone extensions and approved business applications.• Provision and support user access to systems such as Net Suite, Salesforce, Sign Now and other company-approved platforms based on authorized requests and assigned roles.• Support employee transfers and exits by changing or revoking access, recovering IT assets and confirming that accounts are disabled or handed over in accordance with management/HR instructions.• Maintain accurate user, extension and device records, including updates to corporate telephone directories where assigned.• Provide basic user guidance and short training for newly deployed applications, devices and approved IT processes. C. Network, Connectivity & Endpoint Security• Support LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, structured connectivity, internet links, IP addressing and VPN connectivity; coordinate complex network/firewall issues with the Head of IT or service provider.• Assist with approved firewall, Cloudflare/WAF or IP-whitelisting requests for vendors, hosted applications and integrations, ensuring changes are documented and authorized before implementation.• Maintain endpoint health through operating-system updates, approved software installation, driver/firmware updates, antivirus/endpoint protection and basic security checks.• Support password, MFA and access-control practices and immediately report suspected phishing, malware, unauthorized access or other cybersecurity incidents.• Assist with backup/restore checks and recovery activities for supported endpoints or services when assigned. D. Business Applications & Vendor Support• Provide first-line technical support for ERP, CRM, e-signature, telephony and other approved enterprise applications, separating user/device issues from application defects and escalating with evidence.• Coordinate with application vendors, developers, hosting providers and other third parties for access, troubleshooting, upgrades, integrations, deployment support and issue resolution.• Provide controlled technical assistance to external vendors, including remote/onsite access coordination, connectivity testing and validation after changes.• Follow up assigned technical quotations, deliveries, installations and support commitments and confirm completion before closure. E. Telephony, Meeting Rooms & Digital Displays• Configure and support PBX/i PECS extensions, i PECS Mobile accounts, desk phones and related user telephony settings.• Support boardroom and meeting-room technology including PCs/NUCs, HDMI connectivity, displays, projectors, microphones, speakers, conferencing equipment and presentation connectivity.• Configure, test and support office TVs, digital signage/billboards and other managed display screens; coordinate content/display issues with the responsible team or vendor.• Provide technical setup and onsite support for approved office moves, exhibitions, events and temporary installations when assigned. F. CCTV, Access Control & Other Assigned Systems• Support and coordinate maintenance of CCTV, building access-control systems, ANPR/RFID parking/barrier systems and other assigned low-voltage/physical-security technology.• Coordinate specialist vendors for installation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, certification or authority compliance where these activities are assigned to IT.• Maintain basic records of service visits, faults, warranties and maintenance status for these systems. G. IT Assets, Documentation & Operational Control• Maintain accurate IT asset and stock records for computers, monitors, phones, printers, scanners, accessories and other assigned equipment; record issuance, return, replacement and disposal.• Track warranties, subscriptions and software/license allocations assigned to the support function and notify the Head of IT before renewals or shortages become operational risks.• Maintain SOPs, quick guides, configuration notes, equipment records and an up-to-date knowledge base for recurring support activities.• Follow approved change-control, access-control and confidentiality requirements and protect company/customer information during troubleshooting or vendor support.• Use approved automation or AI-assisted troubleshooting tools only where permitted by company policy and without exposing confidential, personal or customer data to unapproved services.• Carry out other reasonable IT support duties assigned by the Head of IT in line with business requirements and technology changes.3. Qualifications & Experience Education• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, Electronics/Telecommunications or a related technical field.• ITIL, Comp TIA A+/Network+, Microsoft, Cisco or equivalent certifications are preferred. Experience• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on IT support experience; UAE corporate experience is preferred.• Experience supporting a multi-user office environment with networking, endpoints, printers/scanners, telephony, meeting-room AV and business applications.• Experience in real estate, property management, multi-site operations or a similar customer-facing business environment is an advantage.4. Required Technical & Professional Skills• Strong Windows desktop support and practical troubleshooting of hardware, software, network and peripheral issues.• Working knowledge of LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, switches, VPN, firewall concepts and secure remote support.• Practical experience with PBX/IP telephony, printers/scanners, AV/meeting-room equipment and digital displays.• Ability to support enterprise applications and user-access workflows; exposure to Net Suite, Salesforce and e-signature platforms is advantageous.• Basic understanding of cybersecurity hygiene, endpoint protection, MFA, user-access controls and incident escalation.• Strong ownership, customer-service mindset, prioritization, documentation and vendor-coordination skills.• Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users and management.5. Working Requirements Primarily onsite support in Ajman, with support for other company locations or project sites when required. After-hours or weekend support may be required for critical incidents, planned maintenance, office moves or business events, subject to management requirements.
