<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li><p>Act as the authorized Job Performer under the ADNOC Permit to Work (PTW) system.</p></li><li><p>Review and understand the approved Permit to Work, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Method Statement, and Risk Assessment before commencing work.</p></li><li><p>Ensure all worksite control measures, isolations (LOTO), barricading, gas testing, and safety precautions are implemented before starting work.</p></li><li><p>Conduct daily Toolbox Talks (TBT) and communicate hazards, control measures, and emergency procedures to all work crew members.</p></li><li><p>Supervise and coordinate work activities to ensure compliance with ADNOC HSE requirements and project procedures.</p></li><li><p>Verify that all personnel are competent, properly trained, and equipped with the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).</p></li><li><p>Ensure work is executed only within the scope and validity of the approved permit.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with the Area Authority, Permit Issuer, Performing Authority, HSE personnel, and other disciplines for safe work execution.</p></li><li><p>Stop work immediately whenever unsafe conditions, permit deviations, or emergency situations arise.</p></li><li><p>Monitor the worksite continuously to ensure compliance with safety requirements throughout the work duration.</p></li><li><p>Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained before, during, and after completion of work.</p></li><li><p>Close, suspend, or hand over permits in accordance with ADNOC PTW procedures.</p></li><li><p>Maintain accurate records of permits, toolbox talks, inspections, and work progress.</p></li><li><p>Report hazards, incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts or conditions immediately.</p></li><li><p>Support quality inspections and ensure work complies with project specifications, drawings, and applicable standards.</p></li></ul></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><ol><li><p>Diploma, ITI, or Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, or a related engineering discipline.</p></li><li><p>Valid ADNOC WMS Job Performer (Permit Holder) certification.</p></li><li><p>Additional safety certifications such as H2S, Confined Space Entry, Working at Height, Gas Testing, or First Aid are advantageous.</p><p><u>Experience</u></p><ul><li><p>Minimum <strong>3–5 years</strong> of Oil & Gas experience.</p></li><li><p>At least <strong>2 years of experience on ADNOC projects</strong> as an approved Job Performer or Permit Holder.</p></li><li><p>Experience in EPC construction, shutdowns, brownfield, greenfield, maintenance, or commissioning projects.</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of ADNOC PTW, WMS, JSA, LOTO, SIMOPS, and HSE requirements.</p><p><u>Skills & Competencies</u></p><ul><li><p>Thorough understanding of ADNOC Work Management System (WMS).</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of Permit to Work (PTW) procedures.</p></li><li><p>Excellent understanding of hazard identification and risk assessment.</p></li><li><p>Ability to lead work crews safely in high-risk environments.</p></li><li><p>Good communication and coordination skills.</p></li><li><p>Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.</p></li><li><p>Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.</p></li><li><p>Computer literacy with Microsoft Office applications.</p></li><li><p>Good written and spoken English.</p></li></ul><p>HSE Responsibilities</p><ul><li><p>Comply with all ADNOC HSE policies, procedures, and Life Saving Rules.</p></li><li><p>Ensure worksite hazards are identified and controlled before work begins.</p></li><li><p>Verify emergency response arrangements are understood by all team members.</p></li><li><p>Ensure environmental protection measures are implemented.</p></li><li><p>Promote a strong safety culture and intervene when unsafe behaviors are observed.</p></li><li><p>Participate in incident investigations and corrective action implementation where required.</p></li></ul></li></ul></li></ol><p></p></section>
