Carry out sampling and witnessing of laboratory and field tests for soil, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, steel, and other civil materials as per approved ITPs. Ensure materials used for roadworks, bridges, culverts, drainage, and utility works conform to approved specifications and drawings. Monitor storage, handling, and protection of materials to prevent contamination, segregation, or damage. Verify compliance with RTA-approved suppliers, manufacturers, and testing laboratories . Coordinate with the Material Engineer and Site Engineer regarding testing schedules, approvals, and material-related issues. Inspect asphalt paving, concrete works, earthworks, and backfilling to ensure correct materials and workmanship are used.
