The Reinsurance Operations Specialist / Reinsurance Accountant is responsible for the administration of the ceded facultative and treaty reinsurance arrangements purchased by DAMAN. The jobholder will be accountable for the timely and accurate booking of the reinsurance transactions while ensuring the constant adherence to DAMAN reinsurance procedures and standards. The role acts as a key link between Underwriting, Finance, Claims, IT, Compliance and external partners (brokers/reinsurers) to drive financial performance. The role will also be directly involved in the set-up and upkeep of the Company’s P&C Reinsurance System and ensuring their connectivity with the Company’s financial accounting and reporting systems.

Coordinates and Promotes “Accessibility” related professional workshops to faculty and staff as well as workshops that can be given in high schools. Creates an annual budget that supports initiative by the Department of Student Accessibility Services. Manages all administrative work related to the department and generates on going Reports related to SEN. Expands and maintains knowledge of current disability laws to ensure ZU maintains compliance. Facilitates communication and problem solving between faculty, staff, and students with disabilities on access and accommodation issues. Creates marketing information describing the department services to encourage students with disability to self-identify. Organizes awareness Event of SEN for all ZU Community.
