The school values inclusivity, respect, and a student-centered approach to learning.<br>Role Description The History Teacher – US Curriculum will deliver engaging, standards-aligned history lessons to middle and/or high school students, ensuring coverage of required US curriculum benchmarks. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and implementing lesson plans, assessing student progress, providing timely feedback, and differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs. The teacher will integrate a range of instructional strategies and resources, including technology, primary sources, and project-based learning, to develop students’ historical thinking and research skills. Additional duties include participating in department meetings, contributing to curriculum review and development, maintaining accurate records, and communicating regularly with families and colleagues. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai.<br>Qualifications<br> Strong subject-matter expertise in World History and American History, with the ability to teach historical concepts, perspectives, and skills from multiple regions and time periods. Proficiency in History Education and Lesson Planning, including designing age-appropriate, inquiry-based lessons aligned with US curriculum standards. Experience in Curriculum Development and refinement for a US-based history program, including creating assessments and learning materials. Bachelor’s degree in History, Education, Social Studies Education, or a closely related field; advanced degree or teaching certification in a relevant area is an advantage. Experience teaching the US curriculum in an international or diverse school setting, preferably in middle or high school grades. Ability to use educational technology and digital resources to enhance instruction and student engagement. Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills, with a commitment to inclusive and culturally responsive teaching. Willingness to participate in professional development, contribute to school initiatives, and support extracurricular or enrichment activities related to history and social studies.

<span>SECONDARY HISTORY & POLITICS TEACHER - Abu Dhabi based international school seeking secondary teachers for its UK campus Minimum Experience Requirement: 2 Years Experience of the UK curriculum is preferred but the school will consider other teaching backgrounds. Personality and passion are what really count, teachers who are confident and willing to adapt to an international landscape in and out of the classroom displaying attributes that reflect cultural understanding, collaborative behaviour and most importantly the ability to adapt to new situations quickly and effectively. Salary is tax free salary (AED11000-14000 per month) complemented by an employment package of furnished shared housing with utilities, flight allowance, medical insurance and an end of service gratuity.</span> </div>
