Job Title: Journeyman Electrician<br><br>Purpose and Scope: <br><br>This is a temporary 90 contract position in Abu Dhabi to perform inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems to include primary distribution system, interior and exterior secondary distribution, interior/exterior perimeter and area lighting, access control systems, and grounding systems to support the mission on Al Dhafra Air Base in support of the Air Force Contract Augmentation Program (AFCAP).<br><br>Essential Responsibilities: <br><br>Shall be responsible for all electrical systems beginning with the main distribution panel downstream of the substations. Install, inspect, maintain and repair, primary and secondary circuits and equipment in facilities to include motors and motor control circuits. Perform routine operational checks, using operational manuals at a minimum, and repair as required to ensure the electrical distribution system is operational and properly phased and balanced. Disconnects Main and secondary breakers within compact substation Transformers, relays, and capacitors Perform routine operational checks and repairs to Systems to include:Electric motor connections (i.e. for HVAC pumps and water pumps) Rollup doors Perform routine operational checks and repairs to Lighting Systems to include:Street lighting (excluding light carts) Facility interior and exterior lighting Inspect critical grounding following lightning strikes to confirm system integrity. We are looking for qualified and motivated CAT II and III linguists with JR level experience in conducting OSINT research and analysis, interested in working within CENTCOM supporting USAF OSI with all-source analytic services. The Contractor shall ensure the integrity, context, and intent of the source language is sustained in the written output; the written output shall be a literal translation. Translating. The contractor shall translate, in writing, original source information, including communicating an equivalent sentiment and meaning of the source information into the written output in order to fully convey the objective and meaning of the source information. Interpreting. The contractor shall provide accurate interpreting services for real-time interactions/interviews. Interpretations shall include use of accurate idiomatic translations, correct syntax and expressions from target language to English and vice versa and may require use of slang or colloquial words and phrases. The Traffic Management Specialist arranges the shipment of Pre-positioned Global Prepositioned Material Services (GPMS) cargo to various worldwide destinations via air, land and sea. The Fire Alarm Technician shall perform inspecting, testing, and maintenance for ADAB’s fire alarm network, which include Fire Alarm Control panel (FACP’s), Fire Alarm Transceivers (FAT’s), and the Fire Alarm Central Dispatching Center (Monaco D-21) in a manner that will ensure their serviceability and operation.<br><br>Essential Responsibilities:<br><br>Perform recurring preventive maintenance on installed fire detection and alarm systems IAW UFC 3-601-02, NFPA Standards and manufacturer’s instructions in order to ensure the inspection of testing of installed fire detection, fire door, and alarm system at least once each contract year. Perform corrective maintenance on installed fire detection, fire alarm, fire door, and mass notification systems IAW applicable UFC 3-601-02, NFPA Standards and manufacturer’s instructions, to return a system or component to full operating condition. Perform repair on installed fire detection, fire alarm, and mass notification systems IAW UFC 3-601-02, NFPA Standards and manufacturer’s instructions, to return a system or component to full operating condition. Respond within all emergency service calls (1As) within thirty (30) minutes of initial notification from customer, COR, or Customer Service Unit to repair an installed automatic fire alarm system with no late responses allowed. Provide quarterly training to Air Force personnel (such as firefighters) on simple procedures for clearing the various Fire Alarm Systems and components and resetting fire alarm panels to restore operational capability. For each newly constructed facility, the Contractor shall install a new antenna mast (Government provided), connect the transceiver to the installed panel, program the new fire alarm panel to the Monaco system, and test the installation to ensure that the system is effectively communicating with the Monaco equipment (i.e., if any detector goes off in the building, the alarm is sent to ECC Fire Dispatch). Provide technical advice when requested by the COR for fire protection systems work proposed on work requests by other base agencies. <br><br>Qualifications / Education:<br><br>Must have an Inspection and Testing of Fire Alarm Systems Level II certification from NICET with 3 years’ experience. Registered, licensed, or certified by a state or local authority. Highschool Diploma or equivalent. All personnel must be able to fluently read, write, speak, and understand English. The AFCAP Site Manager (SM) at Abu Dhabi Air Base is accountable for the end-to-end execution of the Engineering Support Services (ESS) contract, ensuring all operational, financial, and contractual requirements are delivered in full compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) standards, USAF expectations, and Amentum corporate objectives. This role provides on-site leadership and strategic direction to a multi-disciplinary workforce, serves as the primary interface with U. S. Air Force stakeholders, and drives performance across safety, quality, cost, schedule, and customer satisfaction. LEE shall have knowledge of principles of engineering, planning, project programming, and ability to interpret plans and drawings. It is required that the LME shall be a registered professional engineer in the discipline of electrical engineering. The SM shall coordinate all work prioritization and investigation. The SM shall attend engineering, base logistics, deployment, exercise, safety, and force protection meetings as required.
