Equipment Maintenance: Inspect, service, and maintain pool machinery, including pumps, motors, filtration systems, heaters, automation systems, and chlorinators. Routine Cleaning & Prep: Vacuum pool floors, brush walls, backwash filters, clean skimmer baskets, and skim surface debris to maintain pristine water clarity. Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose mechanical or plumbing issues, repair pipe leaks, replace worn parts, and execute preventive maintenance schedules. Safety & Compliance: Ensure all pool safety equipment is present and functional. Maintain accurate logbooks for health department compliance and safety inspections. Facility upkeep: Keep pump rooms, chemical storage areas, and surrounding pool decks clean, organized, and secure.</p><p><br></p><p>Construction & Installation Phase Equipment & Mechanical Setup: Install and plumb commercial-grade pumps, filtration tanks, heaters, automated chlorination systems, and PVC pipe networks. Structural & Finishing Work: Assist with pool shell prep, coping, tile work, lining, rebar placement, and surface finishing/plaster application. Electrical & Automation Hookups: Support the installation and wiring of control panels, pool lighting, pumps, and water feature actuators. Commissioning & Startup: Conduct pressure tests, check for leaks, start up new systems, and balance water chemistry from raw fill to initial swimmer readiness.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>What We’re Looking For</p><p>Experience: 1–3 years in swimming pool construction, pool equipment installation, or commercial pipefitting/plumbing. Certifications. Valid driver's license is preferred. Trade Skills: Hands-on experience with PVC pressure pipe fitting, basic electrical circuits, motor installation, and light mason/concrete work. Physical Capability: Ability to handle heavy physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions, lift up to 75 lbs, and operate heavy tools/machinery. Attention to Detail: Pride in clean craftsmanship—from straight plumbing runs in the pump room to precise tile and finish alignments.</p>
